  1. so it starts out with this robot with gas pumps for legs and a clear gas tank in it's butt, it looks just like a tachikoma, altho i suppose it could just as easily said it was a spider made of gas pumps, either way i thought it was cool

    You're thinking of the Prius aren't ya?

    Oops, I replied to the wrong post. I was supposed to be replying to Phalanx's post >_<;

  2. Meh, give me an A.C. anyday :p

    As Knight26 said it's not just the technology inside the aircraft. The Mave would never get off the ground simply due to the laws of physics. Out of of all the Yukikaze designs the only ones that would stand a chance of getting airborne are the Sylph and Super Slyph in my opinion. Of course they'd need a darn good control system to stop them from going out of control after take off e.g. like the system Eurofighter needs

    (I should have joined this earlier :ph34r: )

    Not true, put enough power and it will get off the ground. Staying in one piece well thats another story. :p

    True, it would probably break apart during take-off :lol:

  4. *looks at previous posts*

    I don't if anyone has mentioned this but aren't are most aircraft in anime from 2030 outwards? (excluding the VF-0 and VF-1) If that's the case there's no way current technology could make them possible right? :blink: I also agree with the rest that anime-style aircraft are unfeasable and a complete waste of money. If any aircraft manufacturer were to attempt it they'd probably end up bankrupt

  5. Yo polidread nice drawings but I have a personal request, can you please do a VF-2SS Valkyrie 2 girl for me? if not thats fine

    He's already done one, look further back in the thread :)

  6. There seems to be mixed opinions on new_member. The VF-19A I bought from him in September has not arrived yet and it has been nearly a month since I made the purchase. I am aware that with me being in England it can make stuff hard to send but still... -_-

  7. My Priss & Linna figures arrived today. Unfortunately one of the ear sections on Linna's helmet is missing. Looks like I'm gonna have send it back for a replacement which is really disappointing as the other two will arrive this week :( Has anyone here had to send something back to hlj? How good are they when it comes to returns or replacements?

    Holy crap, mine came in the same exact way. :angry: Just contact HLJ and they will ask you for pics. Then, They email you exact instructions on what to do. Should only have about a week or so turn around time. I sent the head out about a week and a half ago, and it's currently floating somewhere in SAL land. Overall, they're quite easy to deal with.

    You had the same issue with your Linna? Perhaps it was the same production batch :mellow:

    I just got an e-mail back from them today saying they'll contact Atellier Sai about getting me a new head so fingers crossed I'll have the new head in a week or so.
