  1. Man this is beyond awesome! I wish I had the skill set to do the same but I can't even draw. lol I recently heard about the program/ game Flyout. It lets you 3D build fighter jets and fly it in a sim. It would be cool to see your design fly around.

I don't own the Yamato 1/72s.  I'm confused by the image from Any Moon.  Has a panel been removed from the Yamatos allowing us to see the shoulder pad, arm, and internal sliding mechanism just anterior to the vertical stabilizer?  That hurts my eyes.  Burn that 5#!+ with fire.

That's just how the toy is designed.

Given the level of parts former this thing already is it makes me wonder why they didn't they just design for Delimiter mode with a part to cover the section for fighter and then just plug in properly proportioned parts for Gerwalk/Battroid instead of giving us this... thing.

I would be perfectly happy if they just went with the route that the HG took. Just give us big beefy legs for Battroid/ Gerwalk mode since it's completely hidden in fighter mode anyways. That would slim down the fighter mode and make room for beefy arms. Add the nose shortening and rotating seat gimmick from Yamato's design and we're golden.

I can see why, and I'm hard-pressed to think of the last time I've seen this warning on a listing.Screenshot2023-08-11063237.png.4a0f63992dc7704eef089eeabf38c2c6.png

Yeah I saw that and was a bit concerned but I pulled the trigger anyways. If it doesn't meet my expectations I can always return it. lol

I think the battroid will look great, and probably the gerwalk as well, but the fighter depends on how they do the parts for swapping. I’m definitely curious to see this one more than the rest. I really like the YF-19 model so far for the battroid, but the fighter could’ve used some work although I still like it

In my opinion the legs doesn't have to be used in fighter mode since it's covered up by the belly plates. That frees up the space inside for some beefy arms. Transforming could be as easy as popping off the belly plates, swing the arms out, attach the legs and then swap the nose cone for a Battroid accurate one. Then attach the belly plates on the thighs. There should be 2 sets of belly plates since the Battroid ones are drawn to be more of a skewed parallelogram instead of a rectangle.

As for the 19, I think the feet are too big. They should have gave us a set of smaller feet that is also more opened up for the jet exhaust.

  6. I'm siked about the YF-21. And since it's a partsformer there's no reason for it to not look good in all 3 modes considering the legs and arms are covered up in fighter mode. You'd only need one set of legs and arms for Battroid and Gerwalk so they should be beefy like the line art.

  7. I'm surprised that no one/ company has made anime accurate legs for the Yamato YF-21 since the legs are removable. I personally feel that parts forming for the YF-21 is fine considering the anime magic involved with the transformation. We'll probably get that with the inevitable 1/100 HG YF-21.

  8. My copy of the Anniversary VF-25 has a loose "neck plate". It's the grey piece below the head. Is there a way to tighten that? It's not that big of a deal since it doesn't affect the posing stability but it would be nice if it was tighter. Mine also had a loose hip but I fixed it with Kiki.

I like hobby town. They seem hit and miss with what they get in, but they come through with some interesting items. Lately they’ve been getting a lot of regular Bandai items, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if the got this kit and the decals as well

My HT is a "flagship" Gundam store so they have a pretty good selection compared to before. They even have "3rd party" Chinese kits. And with these being WWM release they are sure to get them in.

Still waiting for them to get to Plus and that YF-21 they teased all those years ago.

God I wish Bandai would actually produce the YF-21 and YF-19. I wouldn't even mind if the 21 was a partsformer that could give us a slim fighter mode and beefy battroid mode.
