Forgive me since this is probably sacrilege in this forum but... In the photo accompanying the SpeakerPODcast Episode 5 – We got M.ALTed! post, what is the name of that toy that Matt Alt is holding? The light blue, with brown and red accents? I had a 3" or 4" version as a kid, loved it, but never knew what series it was from. It always seemed to be able to transform as well but was never able to completely figure that our either. I'd love to be able to find one of those to have today. -thanks!

thanks for the help guys, i definitely see the groves for where the heat shield is supposed to slide up and down, and have looked at the spot where it's supposed to be at every possible angle but to no avail, its not there. From reading the boards, it sounds like there are more problems with yamato's quality control than there should be. Is that a common feeling in the communtity here? or just me?

Hi, i thought it would be helpful for people to know where we purchased our macross/robotech products, how much everything was with shipping and how fast shipping was in order to find the best deals. So here is my first contributing post.... I bought from Lost and Found Toys www.laftoys.com : (1) 1/48 Deluxe Set VF-1J Max Jenius - pre-order= $197.95 (1) 1/48 Deluxe Set VF-1J Miria Jenius - pre-order= $197.95 plus a free Flexi-stand for each set shipping (UPS Ground)= $13.52 total= $409.42 Shipped: 9/28/07 Recieved: 10/2/07 (the main reason i started this is b/c it seems like when i had received my products, everyone that ordered the same products from www.hlj.com were still waiting for theirs to be shipped. So i'm interested in knowing how much the same products cost from HLJ for future purchase considerations. (and plus, HLJ never gives an exact shipping cost at time of purchase.))

just got my first yamato valk this week. This is my first post on the forums as well. Bad camera phone, sorry. Notice anything wrong with my valk? .....No heat sheild! It was missing when i opened the figure. Can anyone tell me, are the heat sheilds attached to the valk at the factory? I just want to be sure that it wasn't seperate from the figure and i'm just not noticing it. Can yamato send replacement parts? Any suggestions? I'll probably post this question on the 'what's wrong with my figure' thread as well. HELP!
