I see that you are bidding on that loose Strike VF-1S on eBay to complete this one. I was gonna ask you if you would sell me that armor and box since I have a Bandai VF-1S Hikaru (strike) with no armor! I guess that armor will be spoken for, so best of luck!
Later!

I thought that I was being cut-off from the Macross World! I e-mailed Bobe-Patt to make sure that it wasn't just me.

I wouldn't say that you started this auction too high, but I have found that much of the stuff that I sell on eBay I will either break even or take a little bit of a loss on. The stuff that would sell for a high price, I don't want to get rid of. For instance, I probably sold my 2 MPCs for less than I paid and that includes a VF-1J Rick, but I wanted to sell them as a pair to get rid of them. As a result, I got a little lower return, but I am no longer stuck with them. Here's a link to my completed auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMESO%3AIT&rd=1
But for me, many times it's just getting rid of the item that I don't want so I can use that money towards what I do want (like more 1/48s).
Hope this helps and best of luck on the sale.

Sounds cool! Can't wait to see a pic (although we have seen Kurt's work, so I don't know if Yamato can live up to those standards)!

Hey ya'll -
I am in need of a set of 1/48 Yamato Valkyrie intake covers. My VF-1A Hikaru came without them. I already posted this in the "parts needed" thread, but I'm not sure that alot of people got to see it there, so.........please help. I'm on the SSL, in case that is a concern for payment.
Thanks!

Awesome! Congrats on your first 1/48. I got my 1/48 VF-1A Hikaru (1st one for me too) this past week and I plan on getting more ASAP.

Nice work!

I second that!
I third it?

UPDATE!
My Yamatos:
1/60 = 9
1/72 = 3
1/48 = 1!!!! (Just got it yesterday!)
But on a more positive note,
Bandai 1/55 = 13
Bandai JMs = 12
There - I feel much better with those totals!
-
WOW! Another great job, Kurt.
-
Got the parts - thanks!
-
all I need is the armor for the two... oh well I'll bid anyways.
Hmmmmm......it seems that anything I look at is bid on by a certain MW user.
-
WOW!!!!!!!
Nice! I want one! Wait, I just want a regular low-viz first!
-
If I had seen that 1st, it would be mine!
Nice find!

Well, I'm not in Austin, but Houston is about 3 hours drive away. (Texas being such a small state!)
Welcome to the Lone Star State! Hope everything goes well for you! Just learn how to say "ya'll" a lot.
Later!
