  1. I just had chance to go through the site, and i'm digging it!!!! it looks great. You can see the time and effort thats been put into this!

    Welcome back Marchy!

    u do good work.

Edit - found this while cleaning my hard drives... any use?

  2. waaaayyy too much obvious CGI for my liking. Indy movies have always had an element of believable stunts and "looked" real. This has a stink of over CGI'd just like the Starwars prequels had.

I will reserve proper judgement until i see more though.

  3. I'm a fan of the crowbar to the shin bone myself.... CRUNCH!! but thats going a little off topic and i'm not really that way.

Thanks for the support guys and gals. I doubt i'll ever here anything back but a letter has been sent (regeistered mail) and i can only hope that i hear something back... i (maybe foolishly) still have some faith in human nature.

  4. Watched Eureka Seven the last 2 days (yes.. all 50) on the recomendations of peeps here. Thankyou! it was great! sure it was a little whiney in places but i think thats because i watched it all in one go. Great emotion, great music and fantastic animation. Highly recomended!!!

(nearly cried in places, but i may have been a little tipsy at the time... )

  5. Ok, its been a week since my last email out to this person and still nothing. I have sent a letter to them as well, but to be honest i dont really expect a response. I should have known something was up when my first lot of funds never made to this person.

So without further ado, i now have no problem sharing this persons name with the blacklist.

elintseeker aka Jo was the first person to greet me on MW and was very kind to me at the start, but as i and many others have said before, it does not take a great amount of effort to contact someone to put their mind at rest.

If anyone here has another way of contacting Jo, please drop me a line, as (like everyone) cash is tight and i really dont want to have to sell my entire collection to pay for this mistake.

    :(

  6. Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to send a registered letter this week and hope that i get a reply. It does suck that it was a member here though. I know this member has had good reputable transactions before too.

  7. You waited over 6 months!?! Yikes! I consider myself a pretty patient and chilled out person but its lack of communication that stings me. Actually its the loss of over $1000 that stings me. i think i'll give it a week, and i'll look into another way of contacting them.

It makes you lose faith in human nature though... time and time again we fall for things like this. oh well... if i wasnt in so much of a hurry i'd be happy to wait. As some of you will have experienced, when a family member falls ill, you have to do whatever it takes to help them.

I know this person has visited here since i last heard from them (last heard from Dec 4th, last visited Dec 24th), so as Han says "i have a bad feeling about this"

  8. There is no tracking number on items as i have no idea if they have been sent or not!

The registered mail with funds was tracked and ..."lost" by the post office in singapore... apparently.... I am working on getting money back from that one, but we'll see.

Problem is i dont know about items as i've heard squat since dec. 4th.

  9. Hi Guys, i've not been around in a while but i'd like some opinions on something...

    how long is too long?

I made a deal to buy some valks from a member here waaay back when i first joined, and after much mucking around i sent funds ($475), and they got lost .. apparently. I then sent the same amount again as i really wanted these to complete a part of my collection. That was November 25th. Funds were picked up via western union the next day, and i got an email confirming this on the 4th december. That was the last i heard from said person. I have sent a couple of PM's (maybe 3) over the last few weeks asking for an update and heard nothing. I emailed too and still heard nothing.

Now i'm not the impatient type but this transaction has now cost $1080 in total!!! for a $475 purchase, with western union fees, losing one payment via registered mail (yes folks it can happen!), i'm getting a bit miffed.

So my question is.. do i give them the benefit of the doubt or do i take that matter further? I have this persons home address so i can track them down ( even though they are on the other side of the world)... i dont want to come across as too impatient as i know real life can get in the way and whatnot.

Have i been taken for a ride and been screwed? I dont want to add this person to the blacklist yet, as they were one of the first people i met here and were very helpfull when i was starting out.

any and all opinions are appreciated.

EDIT - i should mention that in my last 2 PM's i have asked that EITHER valks are sent or funds returned as i have a sick family member and have to pay for treatments etc. and that this is a matter of urgency. I would have to sell on the valks anyway. :(
