Got the bridge floor in and my first Patron!

HI guys, excited to share that i have officially opened the Macross VR Experience patreon. Right now the plan is to start off with the extended bridge of the SDF-1. Started to import this into Unreal. I wanted to get at least some of it in before opening a patreon. This is pretty much what i do for a living, but freelance gigs can be few and far between so i am going to start a patreon with the hopes of being able to create a full bridge vr experience..if all goes well id like to continue making more vr scenes and releasing them. The entire Galaxy Express 999 would be really interesting....i would like to build the entire interior and then have it travel to a few destinations. More Macross stuff as well.....hey lets see how the patreon goes, you may get a full sdf1, vf1 or city 7 out of it.

Ok so my current order of things for the next few months will be.. Petite Cola - this ones ready, i should have the prototype by mid next week Macross Captains Chair - also ready and will have a prototype soon after the Petite Cola Stair truck - I will start next week Whatever wins this vote - looks to be 1/72 ambulance at this point but depending how the first 3 items go i may jump to the stargoose instead

That may end up being the case, i sized it to 1/48...it would end up a little over 2 feet. Thats not impossible but it would have to be split really smart, so yea i will prob stick to 1/72 for these "for now". The exception being the pitite cola which i may do at 1/12

Hmm, i'll block it out and let you guys know..for now i'll start with the Stair truck. I have to size the thing up before i do scale..but its going to be either 1/72 or 1/48 to match the Hasegawas

yea i want to move on to larger designs later but i am going to start slow since i still have to work on other larger projects like this eventually. If i do this it will be in 1/72 or higher and have an interior..so i wanna start slow...now that little stair truck there..THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT...=D I think thats a good one to start with.

I am artist...i do art, not take other peoples builds =p I think i am going to make most items in 1/48 to go next to those nice juicy hasegawas. I will look through perfect memory and make some items no one has made yet. Thanks for the list

They are done in 3d but i may build a mold in 3D so i am going to try and stick to one scale atm. The petite cola machine is done and i cleaned it up last night....I think thats due for a large scale limited run and then i can do 48 and 72 for hasegawa kits.

Cool thanks, some of those looked nice, i'd likely add more detail. Right now the ambulance and boomlift are tied....anyone have any more obscure vehicles or parts they are interested in please post em. I only used what i could find at the macross mech manual website. I will also be doing this in house to keep pricing lower. The first thing i put out before the vehicles will be The Bridge Captains Chair, i havnt decided on scale yet.

Very down for this..but i wanna do simpler things first can someone list vehicles which havnt been done yet? From an art perspective i like to do things no one has really done before. do you have a link to some images? were they very detailed? I could always make larger scaled or more detailed versions if they are not being made anymore

I plan to start putting together a kit on some of the really cool little vehicles you dont find very often. I would like to make them all but right now i just want to see which one people would have the most interest in first and thats the one i will start work on. Type of material, scale , price etc is still up in the air at this point but this is strictly a "what would you like to see out of this set" Just SDFM for now I am personally caught between ambulance and GNXM at this point.

Something i actually thought about while making this. Eventually i settled on a lived in look...atm im not sure where this bridge scene is in the timeline yet but i was thinking out in space after its taken quite a few bruises. you are going to be able to see outside the windows...so it depends which planet i end up sticking out there. I am going to try and get whats done so far set up in Unreal this weekend.

Picked up some studio work over the summer so i've been busy, but that ends next week and i was able to finish up teh chair monitor. I am going to start working on the walls sometime in the next few days.

Gonna work on those little barrels of whatever ( beer) behind the seat next and then move on to the monitor above the seat

I have been slowly working on some of the bridge props and decided to start a patreon in order to create a fully fleshed out SDF 1 bridge and if all goes well..other areas as well..i will reveal more detail soon.
