Holy poo! Damm....i am so glad i ordered 10 of those MoFo´s hehehe...The VF-1S GBP looks really badass scary, almost sounds like its saying "Do You Feel Lucky Punk...Well Do Ya?"

88? hahaha...man i remember those days. I remember during class i was drawing the SDF-1 under attack and "veritechs" where fighting all over the place. The story ended with the teacher taking my drawing and having a talk with my parents with me being too "war-happy"
Anyways....those are really nice pix. Those would be really awsome if someone scanned them in and colored them.

It would be pretty cool if they made the entire team even the pilots....its highly unlikely...but damm cool to have those badasses all posing in some awsome way in my detolf cabinets hehehe..
Makes me kinda wish i had the Alien VS. Predator pc games...man that was fun to play as USCM hehehe with motion tracker with that familiar beeping sound when something is moving. I have some fun memories playing that game over at the local PC cafe place with a bunch of friends.

Thats not right....how can they make those 3 and not make Hudson? I mean he was the talkative BSer of the entire badasses. Heheh i mean we quote so many lines from that dude....heck even the techinical manuel quotes him as well heheh. I sure hope they make him.

Damm that trailer sucks big time....damm! If they are gonna make a DOA movie...i would guess it woulkd be more of the lines of a BloodSport kinda movie. Where the fight scenes are the important part. This trailer has that KillBill & Charlie´s Angels BS theme to it.
Suddenly that AVP doesent seam so bad in comparison huh?

Oh, Sweet zombie Jesus no. Most of the dub actors will come from ADV's stable, most likely...except for the actress who plays Minmay. She's apparently a Japanese singer of some note, Mari something or other... can't remember the last name for the life of me...
As for "Upon the Shoulders of Giants" all I can think of is that what they mean is the Protoculture civilization that helped build the ASS-1/Macross in the first place are the "giants" (scientific, that is) whose shoulders the Overtechnology is built upon.
Haha Pat!....i was just wondering if they will be using the same voice actors as they did with the old Robotech version. I know that a few members in here arent too happy with the dude that played Rick Hunter, but using Mari as Minmei again is awsome. Does anyone have any info on who is gonna play who in this new dub?`

I'm sorry, but i've been out in the real world for a while.
The ADV Macross is identical to the Animeigo? I mean, is it just a change in publisher? What are the differences if any.
ADV got permission to do a dub. And they're redoing the subs.
If I recall, they're putting more episodes per disk too.
So lemmie get this right....its the same as Animeigo...just that it contains new subs....same voice actors as used in Robotech?

Wow....those are cool I was working back then if i should buy them, but i voted not too since they where "cheap" and toyish (from the pix i saw, low res) Now that this tread has appeared i am very tempted to get myself a pair. Does anyone know any online stores still selling the blueprint version? Or is anyone willing to sell a new minty one?

Well i rememver one time Neova sent me 2x Super VF-1J Max and the Danish Postal Service really messed up the box. They totally unminted the corners of the boxes. I was realy pist, but....ive never esperience that kind of destruction like you have....damm. My condolences.

Gbp Official Designation?

Well from what i can put together. The number designation on the GBPs are only refering to the GBP itself. Since they GBPs are used to special ops only (and maybe limited because of the cost and its limitation), it would make sense to asume that they are not made in high numbers compaired to the FAST Packs which are more flexible to use on the fighters during combat missions.
So i am asuming that the GBPs are very expensive to produce and due to its unablity to transform with the fighter, it would make sense that the GBPs are only issued to mission specifics which would require the use these are its armament and not the FAST Packs, which would serve the general pilot alot more on the battlefield.
THe GBP and it being unable to transform, would mean again, they would only be issued to Ace pilots on specific missions which would require a poo load of missils. I would guess, that these guys using the GBP would doing something like a support-role for the Destroids on the SDF-1 during combat. Them being able to "fly" and possible hold out 12+ badguys and fight them alone long enuff for the destroids to come in and do the job and take fire and not blow up. The GBP having a big payload would also mean they can be longer on the battlefield and add longer support for the rest of the Destroids. The Valkyries equipt with these would tactically be a good idea. Having a few of those around the ship, while the rest of the Air Wings are out fighting. The VF-1 GBPs can also eject the armour and fly and intercept of if needed get in the SDF-1 and fight just in case something gets past the ships primary defences.
