  1. http://stores.ebay.com/Lost-and-Found-Toys

His ebay store is still up. Maybe try there too.

Sure thing. I am honestly concerned for everyone in this situation, myself included. I hope that he is OK too. I know that life with a newborn can be crazy, from my own experience, especially where my son's mother had postpardom depression (on top of other stuff), and sleep deprevation for the whole family and life can take some scary turns. So really I pray that he and his family are alright and that all of our creditcard accounts are alright and all the toys too. And for selfish reasons I hope that the shop comes back because it was one of my favorite shops to buy from.
  2. Thanks for that. I didnt look in the bag yet...figured it just had the stand for the armor mode...didnt think the bike stand would be in there too.

FTF - I can't say anything for sure but you have to imagine it's a material more akin to riding leathers than to sweats. To make the whole thing work it's probably made out of some space age fiber that's bullet proof (afterall, Stig does fly through walls in his ride armor so the fabric must be pretty sturdy).

EDIT - Nuk, yes, each MH comes with a stand. It should be included in a separate baggy taped to the back of the tray that holds the toy.

  3. I dont think the Beagles are out yet...I wasnt sure what that was at first but I think its a model right? You are right about the two on the right being Megahouse...same with the one in bike mode on the right. If you can you might want to talk to Kevin and see if he has anymore Megahouse Lancers left. He should be getting them within 10 days.

I can't tell, maybe you can. Is the Ride Armor behind the red bike and to the left a 1/10 Beagle?
  4. I know its wrong but since most of us bid on these things why couldnt we make a lottery system...

haha...something like we all put in our names and agree not to bid against one another...whoever gets the lucky draw can bid on the item. Think it could work?

Just trying to share what I've found. Helping those who is still looking for 1....
  5. Chances are Ill be getting a pm from you if you are only giving them a week. They dont really do things that fast.

    Thank you nukatsuka :)

I'm gonna give them a week to fix the problem with YF-19 Fast Pack (yeah I know, it was to good to be true)

    then... fire at will :p

  6. I agree...wtf. Who are you to write that kind of message. Are you in Afghanistan or Iraq right now? Somehow fighting the war and posting messages about toys? Dude you are way off writing that message.

Sometimes I think the wrong people get poo on.

Cry me a river. You lost some toys...who cares?!

Look at the bright side - You're still alive and can still enjoy a venti latte @ Starbucks. Would you rather be in Iraq or Afghanistan? Would you rather be in jail?

    STFU.

  7. I live in Hawaii. The retail store is fine I guess...except for the high prices....but the online store...is supposedly run by a different owner or something so the store doesnt really handle the online side. If you need info or want me to ask about something pm me.

I dont even buy stuff from there.

    Hi guys,

Any experience with Toys N Joys from Hawaii??

I'm having some trouble for now :(

  8. I would recc. calling your cc company. Once you start the claim process through paypal I was told that you cant go to the cc company to fight for you. But at this point there isnt much to lose right?

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to go about making a claim from eBay/PayPal through a bank or Creditcard company? Have there been any success stories? I'm asking because a fellow borad-member on another (Transformers) board just got ripped $500. PayPal ruled in his favour but only refunded 44c because the seller's bank accounts were emptied. The seller has been deregistered.

    Any help appreciated.

  9. It all depends on what you want. If you want Bandais either get the cheaper reissues or get it from valk exchange. I think he has has the bandai vf-1a with fastpacks for $88 shipped or something like that but its a preorder. Some people like Bandai...some people like yamatos....some people like 1:48's. It all depends on personal pref.

I see. So its probably best to grab a Bandai or two until the Yamatos come out.
  10. Have you seen the Bandai reissues? They come in the same mold as jetfire but are Macross/Robotech versions of those planes. If you need pics check out the search function here or type in Macross bandai on ebay.

If you want yamato 1/60 vf-1's wait for the second versions to come out. They should be out soon. If you get the old 1/60 yamatos make sure you get them for a cheap price...$90 incl. ship isnt that great of a price...esp. since the first versions seemed to yellow quickly...mine did.

    Hi

I recently started my collection and after having a few toynami mpcs, looking to fnish up my old favorite chacters. I am an old fan of the series and looking for 1/60 scale Rick Hunter, Fokker and Max Sterling. I have found yamato 1/60 Do you remember love? valkyries for $90 for two including shipping. Would the Yamato 1/60s Do You Remember Love? worth it or should I look at something else?

I have the MPC Alphas, Miriyia Sterling and Miriyia's Quedauun(awaiting delivery). I really just want to stick to the original series for the time being. What would you all recommend? One thing I really want is a Valkyrie in the same mold and scale as Jetfire. Any suggestions?

  11. I was wondering whats shipping like for the angelbird to the US? i checked and it looks like the estimate is around $40. but the shipping tables seems a lot lower. How do you guys ship it?

My angel bird just came in a couple days ago and i love it. I basically just bought cause it was a good starting price for 1/48. I was pleasently suprised about how awesome it was considering i didn't care for the paint scheme. After buying this i definately want to pick up more 1/48s. The only bad thing is the right hand of the angel bird fell apart and broke without even touching it. I'm hoping this was a fluke event because the rest of the toy is awesome.

What's interesting is how close together in size the 1/60 yf-19 is to the angel bird. I never noticed that the YF-19 was so much bigger than the VF-1 in comparison.

  12. yup. I remember that post. Peculiar...very peculiar.

huh...yea... that is awkward... plus Godzilla replied to my post in that thread saying he got one already too...but that's not on there either....
  13. Actually the seller is simply avoiding the listing and final value fees and that would get him reprimanded by ebay. eBay will take action if its affecting there bottom line and basically hes just circumventing the system. Report him to ebay and at the very least they will take down all his auctions and give him a warning.

Even if it's in the auction there's a good chance the way he's doing things is against ebay's rules. It doesn't seem right you could list a "buy-it-now" price and have that not be the price you're paying... it's seems intentionally confusing even if he attempts to clarify in the text. Who does auctions on deposit amounts anyway? The BIN price should be the total with the amount due immediately being significantly less. The whole thing is just odd. You could also report him for excessive shipping cost although he could probably argue there's an inherent handling charge involved.
  14. Why not make a claim to paypal and leave negative feedback? The claim with paypal or your cc would probably get your money back and the negative would just be for the aggravation.

Well some good news and some bad news.

Good news is that Ebay has erased jchung2000's feedback to me and my score has been returned to 100% positive.

Bad news is that I had a bad experience with ebay user wheeljackslab who I bought a KO jetfire (VF-1J bootleg) that was packaged horribly and arrived with a broken off leg (broken at the diecast leg bar). He just put it (in battroid mode instead of the safer for shipping wings in fighter mode) in the bottom of a box and threw some bubble wrap on top of it (instead of actually wrapping the figure itself). I went back and forth with him over the course of many many emails and he refused to take responsability for his poor packaging telling me that it is my fault because I did not buy additional insurance. I will not be doing business with him ever again that is for sure.

Another member has not sent me an item that I purchased on May 4th. I am giving him a few more days to reply to my last email before I list his member name here for you to see.

I am so sick of ebay and sleasy motherjumpers.
