  1. I always go for the deals first...you can miss out on a deal and kick yourself for a while. the other things will be avail for some time so no worries about mising out...unless you wait too long.

  2. cuz you can fix it...i'm pretty sure you can anyway. I've gotten quite a few loose broken toys that were fixed with either some plastruct or crazy glue. no big deal since they will be just for display anyway.

  3. I wish I could be in the same boat as some of you, to stop finding toys altogether and just giv up. but alas, I still find good stuff once in a while...ML's, SW's, McFarlane stuff.

it also helps to have friends in other parts of the city who look for you as well...helps with the collection but not with your wallet.

  4. This will be the last piece for me to complete my McFarlane Matrix series. I remember when it came out, I was going to get it but people say it breaks easy so I passed on it...well, now I want one again.

so if you have broken ones, MIB ones, loose ones...shoot me a PM and a price you're looking for. preferably shipped price.

pictures of broken parts would be appreciated.

  5. if you are on a limited budget...I'd go ahead and sell them off...to me! for cheap! :D

seriously tho...maybe you should try to save up for a 1/48 and see how you like it before selling off your MPCs...who knows you might not like it that much, however unlikely that is. In the end, I'm sure there are always going to be ppl around looking for this stuff, so both are likely to appreciate.

and the 1/48 stands about 12" in battroid mode.

  6. haterist, who told you this has a patent on it? I asked the guy and he said one of the reasons he's shutting down is because of lawyer fees fighting the patent office because they woudln't grant him a patent since there exists something very similar to his designs.

If he doesn't own the patent, then you'd have to pay someone else for the right to use it...who knows how much that'll be.

I wouldn't have thought twice about it if this guy owned the patents. I could probably get all molds and get the cost of each down to $3 or less. but w/o having one of the most important parts, it's all not worth a penny.

  7. I actually don't care. transformation are a plus...but it has to look good in all modes...that's my main beef about the newer transformers...one mode looks good, then the other looks like ka ka.

if it's non transformable, then it just has to have enough detail to look like a robot...

  8. seriously...how hard is it for them to figure out which figures will be hot and which ones not?

clones most likely hot...make a case of just those figures...and see how that goes.

I can't find these figures anywhere, scorch, orange clone, commander cody...let alone from previous wave, shock trooper, the clone commanders...

and did you hear they made more "chase" figures with the galactic chase campaign? freakin ridiculous

  9. i think only the 1st and 2nd issues of hikaru 1A and roy 1S had any real difference.

the 1st issue had nosecones that fall of easily cuz there was no guides to hold the part in, later fixed...and also the wing flaps fell off easily in the 1st issue as well...and the 1s had crooked skulls.

other than that, I think they're identical.

  10. exo, it is wrong but I remember looking through my design works or some other book that one of the drawings actually had '100' on it. maybe that's where they got it from.
