  1. when i get my pay from my last freelance gig (don't freelance-EVER) i'll get some castilene, and a couple of kits and start prototyping...

it'll take probably 3 months just to rough out the transformation so they are durable enough, as for the body parts i SHOULD be able to crank out one a week barring no acts of god or ex girlfriend drama. i'll be building it as high end toy not as a kit if that makes any sense (focus on mobility and durablity-then likeness-think less complicated yamato) don't freak the hell out till i get some actual work done. if all goes well it should be ready for christmas morning glee.

if anybody wants to aide and assist me in the killer of my social life and my wallet let me know.

(smacks himself in the head for committing to the idea and crawls off to kiss his social life goodbye and start working on some sketches)

  2. the beast was probably based on early concept art, hence the non look of the beast in the trailer, as for the beast gone wild aspect....errrr....i got nothing.

sideshow's thing maquette from fantastic four was different than the actual final makeup thing that was used in the film...also the toybiz thing toy from the first wave of figures was based on the same source.

juggernaut looks like diddle. but a lot of the time there can be a final change at the last minute in regards to the character design and sometimes it makes for a totally different look to the character that does not go along with what the general percived idea that licensees are making merchendise for. that's how innacurate toys are made.

  3. i saw this yesterday

and screamed many a foul word.

    :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

well we can look forward to them screwing up the next 2 spidey films with such wonderful ideas that they could'nt use for the gijoe line i.e. bright neon mega power super armor that smell like strawberries and you use it as a pda/ blood pressure moniter.

well i guess toybiz is done. great. i had just submitted my portfolio friday.

:( crap. $57.23 flushed down the tube.

apparently my love for marvel merch. has just died

  4. all kubrick films blow, suck, lick, bite and eat ass.

    they are just plain bad.

blade runner is a take a nap kinda film, akira was crap too.

blade was a b- at best

star wars 1-3 asstacular example of hoe to be a chocolate thief

    titanic eats it raw

    dr. strangelove is not funny

woody the pedophile allen blows the homeless

casablanca can stay in the shiteville library

i find that most classics chew upon the anus of rabid baboons depending on the viewer.

  5. target is surprisingly stress free, believe it or not

it's really easy, mindless and drama free, i leave work not feeling depressed. scary.

i do a lot of freelance work and i keep the target job for consistant medical coverage and a steady reliable source of income. freelance in and of itself is a fickle thing and has a terrible history with cash flow so the target job pays my rent and the freelance covers everything else (bills, toys, supplies, travel) sculpting materials are not cheap, ever tried to ship and oversized packadge overnight to the other coast...it's not cheap.

plus i did not have to wait in line for an system, i strolled in at 3 pm and picked up 2 of the bundles and waited less than 3 minutes in line at the check out AND got my employee discount.

    hah!

(mr lord kungfu can suck me sideways)

    <_<

with the next shipment our store is NOT GIVING ANYBODY WHO WAITS OUTSIDE FIRST DIBS. this is due to the first guy who started the line, he was an ass and demanded that he be able to purchase as many of them as he wanted citing that it was his right as a consumer and then spent the next 14 hrs picking a verbal brawl with anybody wearing a red shirt. when the store opened he started up again and said he should be allowed to multiple systems...

    guy was an a-hole. <_<
