Once I sell of my Xbox 360 I want to get a PS3. How are these babies? Are they noticeably better graphically than the 360? How well do the controllers work? Will my system crash and DIE on me in a few months? I've taken apart my PS2 and put it back together many times, and it works just fine, and I've had it for years. I hope the Ps3 is as dependable.

Graphics? It kind of depends on the game you play if its both offered on PS3 and 360. But visuals are pretty sweet and playing on any Hi-Def monitor makes it even better. Controllers are activated via the PS button in the middle, and comes with a USB cable to charge them. They are awfully light, hopefully we can see a Sixaxis 2 w/ rumble support soon. I got my system at launch, bumped the 20GB to a 120GB hard drive and it's been working since (knocks on wood).

I got Motorstorm as well yesterday, friggin' awesome off-road, rock crashing racing.

Anyone grab the Japanese Armored Core 4 trial? OMFG, this game is awesome! I was playing it at work.

I just picked-up Gundam Musou today! Maxes out at 720p, not bad though.

Does anyone know if they have this DVD w/ English Subtitles (Japanese Language) instead? I have the DVD but it's Englished dubbed. :-( But I do have the VHS episodes in Japanese language/english subs

They should have SEGA do VFX3 if it ever sees light. That would be sweet!

So what are the rest of you guys playing on your PS3? I am totally hooked on Ridge Racer 7 (man, those Japanese players are freakin hard core online). I am also starting to like Blazing Angels. I do have Resistance, but I haven't touched it much since I am playing Gears of War more on my XB360. Oh man! Did any of you pick up the import version of Armored Core 4? I know this isn't out in the US until next year, but geez, uber-robot mayhem. I might have to shell out money and get the import, even though I won't know what's going on.

Yeah, seems to be more available and easy to obtain one now. Wii's are hard to come by. But I don't have to worry since I own all 3 nextgen consoles. I already threw in a 120GB hard drive in my PS3 for download space. I'm using the stock one for Linux.

for ANYONE THAT OWNS a PS3, did any of you pickup the Jap Armored Core 4? It was just released yesterday. And there's no region protection. I might have to bite the bullet and pickup the import version until the US ones comes out next year... I need a robot fix.

I love Metal Wolf Chaos. I play this the most out of my 3 robot games for my Xbox (MWC, Steel Battalion, Murakamo).

That's great work.  I wouldn't worry about the vehicle being too chunky, as it's a tank after all.  Now, how difficult would you say this conversion was to complete?  Is it a "perfect" transformation, or one of those Lego-type deals?

The conversion was pretty simple, no removing parts (except for the gun of course). I would like to revise the pictures in the guide i wrote up for Nam Ngo a while back...

Wow vfx...you get mad props for that custom tank.  What did you end up doing?  Did you have to break its knee caps?

It took some sanding, cutting and glueing to do this. I would like to make this a bit less chunky...

I have a craptacular conversion guide I did a long time ago w/ horrible images (didn't have a great digicam at that time).

Finally finished both METEORs:

I have one, and sure love it. The fingers do get loose, but I painted mine gold and the joints are stiffer now. I'd buy another one just for the heck of it!

I want to get both Akatsuki's, and that CR OO Justice. I have a lot of building to do, I finished my HG OO Justice, now I will start on METEOR-02 and then will be my HG 1/44 Dendrobium I got off of Ebat, geez this thing is HUGE (& the Gundam Evolve 4 is pretty cool too).

For some reason, I find it really amusing that the "cruiser" configuration is "unavailable".  Wouldn't that be the easiest mode for them to get the toy to transform into?

Hmmm, am I the only one who converted the Hover Tank to transform in all 3 modes? The Valkyrie Factory site is under constructions so I cannot see my pics.

yeah, the hand aren't big enough to grasp the handles, so i need to mod the handles... I want to buy a CR Freedom & CR Impulse... I still have I-Justice & METEOR 2 to build

*Update* I was able to use the hands from the HG Freedom on my CR Strike Freedom, just painted them gold... he is grasping METEOR's handles a bit better...
