Holey crap Cody, that's....that's....big.
It's in scale with the Diamond Select BSG action figures.

Any news?
This can't be at the top of the list. I've got some Galactica stuff I'm working on.
Maybe I should just sell the pattern to someone who has the time to produce the kit.

I wonder if the whole "home" project got scrapped, since it's almost a year overdue.
If you're really interested in Home follow the link;
It's not scrapped, just harder to get done than they expected.

Ambroid should do it. Glueing isn't an issue as much as painting is.
-
Which would suggest to me another April start for Galactica.
At least it's coming. I read there is some consideration for a couple of telemovies to air in-between as well.
-
The cleanup on the castings I got will take a bit of work.

Nobody has mentioned the interesting "Star" in the center of Starbuck's new painting. Does anyone here remember what happened to Apollo in the original series at the conclusion of the Count Iblis story arc?

I would recommend at least a dust mask. That would be your most economical option for that. And my favorite tool for stubbs is a little sanding drim chucked into a Dremel.
-
I saw it for $10 at Fred Meyers.

I think the final five are are the "Beings of Light" from the original series. They had the ability to make Colonial stuff white and shiney in the 70's. And they could resurrect the dead as well. I thought RM said he would love to visit that story thread in the new series if he could make it fit.

Maybe they'll do the Regults in 1/60th when these sell like hotcakes.
-
If Bandai wanted to, they could do a great job. Just take a look at the detailing on thier Hardgraph kits.

What of those few of us that hated the last AS film? The stil photo's look better to me.

I'm in for one.

Thanks for taking them down before I could see them.

Based on the sheer size of the structure, even with partially/strategically hollowed parts, I can still see 6-700ml easy going into each kit. I'd advise everyone to expect a $300-ish price tag, especially with a pilot.
Have you ever rotocast large parts? I've bought a few models that cast up quite well with this approach.

I like the show. And it's WAY better than the third film.
-
Then followed by the space booster for it too.
There's still plenty of Macross love for John to take pleasure in.
-
I meant Monter. Moscato style.
I guess you have to do a Glaug.
-
There's still one destroid he hasn't done yet.

It a freakin' classic kit! I built dozens of them as a kid. I can build these things with my eyes shut. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing to complain about with it. It's from 1982 as other's have pointed out.
But I'm a grumpy old man.

SW-XA1

It is a one-off scratch built resin garage kit. That statement is almost as self contradictory as a Bush State of the Union address.

I'll be doing it. It's just a matter of when. I've got the pattern dug out of storage.

I actually need to start MAKING some money for this. I've got a couple of sources lining up. Hopefully I can get this paid for in less than two weeks.
