FAST pack is a real life term too. Fuel And Sensor Tactical.

It's a balancing act when it comes to budget and parts breakdown. There is a lot of cash for each piece that is tooled.
Have you seen what Bandai is doing with Space Cruiser Yamato 2199? The kits of the updated ships look amazing. It almost makes me wish they would do an updated version of the original Macross. I just finished watching it again. The animation is beyond rough. Southern Cross has better animation. Terrible mecha design, but better animation.
I have unbuilt kits of all four ships. I'll have to bust out the epoxy putty when I get around to doing them.

Is it for the new Robotech miniatures game?

I scratch built one as a kid. Very fragile. I converted the pilot from the old Imai fighter kit.

She was lying when she told you that playing with toys was cute.

Gunze makes Mr Resin Primer. Smells yummy too.

They are probably just waiting until they feel the prototype is ready to view.

The leg angle on the Hasegawa kit always bugged me.

How the hell did this thread slip by my notice?! Amazing work man.

Not wood. Plastic. Wood would be even worser.

Honestly? I had one of those Cutty Sark model kits. The big ones. I gave up on the rigging after about 1/4 of it was done. Those ships were COMPLEX!

I'm stoked about this. I just made the decision to get most of my display pieces in 1/72nd. I would love to have a modernized version of the old classic.
-
So we look here for the pre-order information or will there be a new thread to look out for?
I'm strongly leaning toward getting one kit.

I've seen some amazing stuff being done with some micro lcd display modules. They even have a built in micosd slot.

Me too. I've seen him working on rebuilding a missing part.

Getting back to this old thing.

I think it looks great.

Not built. But I did clean up the parts. The same is true for every single kit I bought from CA. I have a hard time making myself paint. I love the cleanup work though. I'm really weird that way.

She photographs very well. See you at work.
