In case anyone was wondering, here is a preview of the new FlexiDisplay packaging. I still have not had time to take a picture of the new rods and cover plate but I will do it this week. FYI the cover plate has been modded to allow the screw to sit flush and the rod/ball joint is one solid piece with a bumper plugged on top. Upcoming pics show the test stand with black bumpers/feet but they will be clear on the final version.

Just a heads up before our newsletter goes out tomorrow. We have pre-orders up for 1/60 VF-1S Roy, 1/60 VF-1A HIkaru. 1/60 Super VF-1A Hikaru, 1/60 Super VF-1J Hikaru and 1/60 Destriod Tomahawk. Since the pre-order so out so fast we are also accepting backorders for a 1/60 Strike VF-1S Roy re-stock later this month.

Here is preview pic of the new FlexiDisplay Stand base. To reduce costs the base is no longer one solid piece of acrylic. If you look closely, there is no need for metal washer! This is a sample but the rubber feet on the corners will be clear.

7.23.08 - Incoming Shipment
Arriving this week is Revoltech No.052 Lazengann, Encore 10 Minibots and Binaltech BT-21 Arcee. Revoltech No.50 Gurren Lagann should be in-stock in the next few weeks but the release of Binaltech BT-22 Convoy has been delayed by Takara-Tomy until September.
The highly anticipated Macross 1/60 VF-1S Strike Roy Focker is on the way. We will also receive a limited number of Bandai 1/55 VF-1S Roy Focker and 1/55 VF-1J Hikaru Ichijo reissues for those who like the overall feel and play of the original valks.

A restock of Transformers Japanese Classics has arrived. The Takara Transformers Henkei! series is the Hasbro Transformers Classics series with G1-inspired paint schemes and chrome features. If you missed out on C-01 Convoy, C-02 Bumblebee, C-03 Grimlock, C-04 Mirage, D-01 Megatron and D-02 Starscream now is the time to get them. We also still have a few D-03 Astrotrain available for purchase. Takara is not producing more Henkei! figures so get them before they disappear!

6.04.08 - Incoming Macross
On the way to us is Macross Plus 1/60 YF-21 Guld Bowman, Revoltech No.034 VF-1J Super Max and Revoltech No.051 Regult. We will begin processing pre-orders today and ship on Monday, June 9th.
We are also expecting a limited restock of MA-21 Battle Mode Optimus Prime and MA-22 Battle Mode Bumblebee. As a redeco of the 2007 Leader Class figure, Optimus Prime features a new head sculpt, energy sword and chrome parts. Bumblebee also gets 'premium' treatment by sporting a new head sculpt and gray body parts.

6.02.08 - FlexiDisplay Update
Recently we received samples of our new FlexiDisplay stands. For those who do not know, changes were made in the manufacturing process to reduce production cost and time. We are hoping for a late summer/early fall release date. Pre-orders will be up later this month.

We are now taking reservations for Revoltech Series No.053 YF-19 and Series No.054 YF-21. These two mecha from Macross Plus come with fast pack armor, additional hands, gun and display base.

4.18.08 - Black Ironhide
Our shipment of New Year's Special Black Ironhide by e-Hobby arrived this afternoon. Pre-orders are currently being processed. Today is the last day the pre-order price will be honored.

4.11.08 - Transformers Encore & Henkei
The new Encore line from Takara-Tomy is really giving us fans a little of both the familiar and unfamiliar when it comes to reissues...and we are loving it! Encore 11 completes the original seeker trio with a Skywarp and Thundercracker set. Those who held off from purchasing the recent KO version of Metroplex will be pleased to know the transforming Autobot battle station will be Encore 12.
The Japanese Classics line (Transformers Henkei) also continues with C-06 Skyfire, C-07 Sunstreaker, C-08 Prowl and D-04 Ramjet. Although it is not know in what fashion these molds will get the chrome treatment, we will update listings as we find out more.
4.10.08 - Macross Goodies
Pre-orders are now up for Yamato's new Macross 1/60 Super VF-1S Roy Focker. How is different than the previous release? Perfect Transformation. It is also worth mentioning that in addition to the normal weapons, the 1/60 VF-1S will come with Super/Strike Parts (Fast Packs)!
Also available for reservation is Revoltech Series No.051 Regult and Friend Shop exclusive Revoltech Series No.034 VF-1J Super Max TV Version.
For those still looking for the original die-cast beauties, Bandai's 1/55 VF-1J Hikaru Ichijo and 1/55 VF-1S Roy Focker are being re-released in celebration of 25 year of Macross.
Recent News...
Two more Binaltech are coming this summer! BT-21 Arcee will be a silver Honda S2000 Hardtop. The solicitation clearly depicts the head of Alternators Decepticharge. So far we have not been told if the head will be remolded. BT-22 appears to be Convoy (Optimus Prime) as a Dodge SRT10. It is unclear what the color (or character) of this figure will be. For some reason the solicitation shows the alternate truck mode in green. As soon as we find out more, the listing will be updated.
We have also found out that the Encore 09 Minibots Set will include new reissues. A recent magazine preview clearly shows Bumblebee accompanied by Tailgate, Pipes, Swerve and Outback!

Wave is releasing a 1/10 scale Briareos Hecatonchires and Deunan Knute from the anime film Appleseed Ex Machina. We are now accepting pre-orders!
In-stock and ready ship is Series No.044 Black Ox and Series No.045 J-9 Griffon with Aqua Unit. Black Ox, known as Tetsujin's best rival robot, originated from the manga by Mitsuteru Yokoyama. The ultra sleek black mecha Type-J9 Griffon Aqua-Unit is based on the famous Patlabor anime action series.

2.28.08 - Soul of Chogokin
Arriving in March is GX-40 God Mars and XS-07 Black Selena. Many people are already claiming that God Mars will be the best Chogokin figure released to date. Black Selena, from the anime film Martian Successor Nadesico: Prince of Darkness, is the seventh entry in the Chogokin Spec expansion series. We are also accepting pre-orders for GX-41 Raideen and GX-41S Raideen DX Fade-In Set. The Fade-In Set will comes with a giant mountain head, gold Raideen statue, motorcycle and bonus accessory parts. This is in addition to the regular edition which includes a Brugar, stand and accessories. This version has white parts while the regular version has silver parts. Both versions have an April release date in Japan.

2.27.08 - New Binaltechs
It appears that Takara Tomy is reviving the Transformers Binaltech line with a couple of new repaints. BT-19 will be a blue Subaru Impreza WRX obviously named Bluestreak. The Mazda RX-8 Speed v2 mold, used previously for BT-13 Shockwave, will be BT-20 Meister. This silver repaint is a direct homage to Transformers Movie Jazz. It is not clear if this is a sign of more Binaltech figures to come, but if it is then we will carry them!

A small restock of Encore 02 Megatron (Unmodified) and Encore 03 Soundwave arrived today. We also have extra Encore 05 Ironhide and Encore 06 Ratchet coming in. If you need to catch up on the Transformers Encore series now is the time to do it!
The rest of our Masterpiece MP-05 Megatron shipment is also arriving. Unlike our current stock of MP-05, this shipment did require the orange plug modification to comply with US regulations and to avoid confiscation by US Customs. The orange plug is an after-market modification, which required our supplier to open the box and remove the contents inside.

Featuring the same amazingly authentic transformation action as the original Garland, the Proto-Garland also offers a host of great, new functions and details such as mirrored fender, distinguishing air breaks which open and close, and monitor screen. The Proto-Garland also comes with a newly designed Shogo action figure and Hagan (enemy robot) shield and gun to duplicate final battle scene of Megazone 23. Pre-orders will be processed and shipped immediately.

1.26.08 - FRAÜLEIN Rei Ayanami
The first figure in the new FRAÜLEIN series, Rei Ayanami from the anime and movie series Neon Genesis Evangelion, is now in-stock and ready to ship! The figure stands six inches tall and has multiple articulation points. Rei Ayanami comes equipped with 1 lance, 2 set of hands and 1 display base. Today is the last day the pre-order price will be accepted. Pre-orders will be processed today and ship Monday, January 28th.

1.22.08 - Transformers Revoltechs
It has been announced that Revoltech Series No.046 and Series No.047 will be Starscream and Hot Rodimus. A familiar pistol will be included with Starscream and Rodimus will come with an additional head with visor. We are now accepting pre-orders.
The third figure to be released in the FRAÜLEIN Revoltech line will be Soryu Asuka Langley from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The figure is 6" tall, has 18 articulation points with 10 joint parts and comes equipped with interchangeable accessories/parts. Pre-orders are now being accepted.
Revoltech ARL-99 Helldiver and Revoltech Type-7B/2B Brocken have arrived! Both mecha were featured in the famous anime action TV series Patlabor: Mobile Police directed by Naoyuki Yoshinaga. Don't forget that we also have the limited OVA Version of the Type-7B/2B Brocken in red!

1.16.08 - Upcoming Transformers
We have received news that Encore 09 Bumblebee & Minibots and Encore 10 Omega Supreme will be the next G1 reissues by Takara-Tomy! The 4 Minibots believed to accompany Bumblebee are Powerglide, Warpath, Cosmos and Huffer. Once this is confirmed the product listing will be updated.
New pictures have surfaced on the Japanese Classics series now called Transformers Henkei! Due to popular demand we are now accepting reservations for C-01 Convoy, C-02 Bumblebee, C-03 Grimlock, C-04 Mirage, C-05 Rodimus, D-01 Megatron, D-02 Starscream and D-03 Astrotrain. While the biggest paint difference appears to be a gray and black Megatron, some of the figures now sport a little chrome as well! Pre-orders will close for Japanese Classics after Wednesday, January 23rd.

Revoltech Series No.039 Gaiking Open Face Version is now in-stock and ready to ship! Gaiking is a super robot based on the anime series Gaiking: Legend of Daiku-Maryu, produced by Toei Animation. Revoltech Gaiking is 5-6" tall, has multiple articulation points and comes equipped with accessories.
Arriving this week is Revoltech Series No.041 Type-7B/2B Brocken OVA Version. The red mecha Brocken is based on the famous anime action TV series Patlabor: Mobile Police directed by Naoyuki Yoshinaga. The figure is a limited Friend Shop exclusive!
