I thought Galactica sent out a Raptor that wasn't used in the battle to make contact with the fleet.

not exactly. there was no time warp involved. it was just a regular "jump". Everything that happened in BSG was happening 150,000 years ago from our Earth's perspective. think of it as a "a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away" thing.

the cylon colony didn't have resurrection technology because the one and only resurrection hub was blown to bits in previous episodes, and only the Final Five know how to rebuild the thing.

And yes, you're correct about earth. "Earth" was their term for the homworld of the 13th/cylon tribe. but since they found our planet, they decided to call it "earth" in honor of their long journey. The real earth that was nuked had nothing to do with our planet or our solar system.

I was always under the impression that they had gone back to the Earth that was nuked but had settled in Africa rather than the previously populated continents. If this Earth was different than the 13th tribe Earth then how did the rest of the fleet know how to jump there? Starbuck was on the Galactica and fed the coordinates according to the notes of the song. Hoshi and the fleet had gone ahead previously so how did they know the jump coordinates?

It's great the way the Opera House turned out to be the Galactica and that Six and Baltar were actually saving Hera. The vision was well adapted to make a whole lotta of sense for the end. Another example of RDM and his outstanding writing staff.

Tori wasn't exactly herself by killing Cally, Tyrol did let Boomer escape, Saul had a relationship with Six and even got her pregnant and even Anders was terrified of what would happen if Kara found out he was a Cylon. THAT is all different from who they were.

4. The Galactica and Pegasus assault on the resurrection ship in Resurrection Ship (Season 2)

5. Galactica's Atmosphere drop and the Pegasus kamikaze in Exodus Part 2 (Season 3)

6. Galactica storming the Cylon Colony in Daybreak Part 2 (Season 4)

I was AMAZED! This is the only show I've ever seen that really delivered. I loved the ending!!! Some say it was drawn out.... no way! It was perfect! This tops my list as favorite fictional show of all time. Amazing writing, acting, effects, music and direction week in and out. I can't wait for "The Plan" and Caprica! Loved the way they tied it all together at the end.

The dying leader that will lead everyone home is actually Galactica itself, not Roslin. Hence the stress fractures.

That's why Guld was #8 on my list as a civilian pilot in a fighter that responds to his thoughts. Macross Arena would RULE!!! I would hope it would actually come out for the PC too. I gave up on consoles after I started playing FPS games online with the PC.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Macross F pilots also wear suits that make piloting easier for them? in a sence they are getting enhanced thus making them better pilots as well? Similar argument about Brea and his implants, except that thier mods are suits opposed to implants, for that IMO all Macross F pilots should be bumped down a notched. (Except Ozma because we all know he's good =p)
