does anyone have files for the Strike parts of the booster? (the canon)
I’m close to finishing my 3D scan and post-processing of the Strike armor. My post processing removed the hollow underside of the cannons. I hate “waffles.”

The dark grey color of the legs is a bit of an odd choice, as well as the color of his waist skirts. Seems like Mark or Evan would be all over that to correct them, but I have a feeling what we're seeing is pretty close to final.
Skirt color seems reasonable if I understand your point. Using the same grey as the thighs would have left the figure with dark-grey T-shaped “twig and berries.” The jokes would write themselves.

Wow-that armor is really cool! Thanks for sharing.
Guess for the leg armor there just isn't another method for securing other than the strapBut I’m in 100% agreement: his armor set is really impressive!

Guess for the leg armor there just isn't another method for securing other than the strapThere’s a more elegant solution. I prototyped it back in 2001 but I was a super-poor grad student and didn’t have on-demand access to a CNC at the time. I’ve nearly got my workshop up and running. Finally. I’ll upload some pix of the full armor set at some point: my honey-do list dominates most of my free time. 🤪

Bleh, the shipping issues are real. ThreeZero just told me they can't ship me two tiny parts to fix my Focker 1S toy until the US rescinds its tariffs. Woof. I hope this gets resolved before the Glaug hits.
Seconded. I've got pre-orders with half a dozen companies. 2025 is shaping up to be especially painful.

Wow geeze, what would have possessed you to of bought it?
A promising future. We’ve got a 1,000 sq. ft. house now but we’ll upgrade eventually to a place where I can celebrate my hobby properly. The Lewin Metroplex is a work of passion and art IMHO, but it has some design deficits that I intend to correct via CNC and metal casting.

Hey everyone,
If anyone's interested I'm selling my First Edition copy of the Robotech Visual Archive: Genesis Climber MOSPEADA hardcover.
This is the official artbook published by UDON, long out of print and hard to come by.The book is in excellent shape, stored safely in a smoke-free collection.
Tons of concept art, character designs, and behind-the-scenes material for fans of Robotech, MOSPEADA, etcThe auction ends in 2 days, so if you’ve been looking to grab this piece of Robotech history now’s your shot.
Feel free to DM with questions. I’d love for this to go to someone who really appreciates it.
Is your price a little too reasonable? Someone's angling for a moonshot with their listing:
I bought the trio of visual archives way back when. Never even opened them because I have zero display space. One day...

It'll be neither VF-19 nor Optimus but an odd Frankenstein's Monster of the pair.
+5 pts. for “Monster.” MW’s got some scholars up in here. 😃
I’m gonna hate the belly kibble, but I’ll pick up two. I don’t have room to display my bots, but if I did, I’d use this figure as a centerpiece to bridge/anchor my Transformers and Macross collections.

"I've seen quality go down since the early two-thousands, around 2007, when Classics, the first Bayformers, Animated, and Prime were all coming out, a time I characterize as a golden era of Transformers toys- priced well, with generally more complexity and parts count per size class, far fewer gaps and waffles, and more paint apps make those toys stand out still as some of their highest quality output on the whole."
A.M.E.N. There was a golden window during which we had no idea just how good we had it and just how sideways things could get.

Both of my Haslab Omega Primes arrived in pristine condition: Hasbro spared no expense on the packaging. I'm glad getting to the affected part required minimal transformation/effort.
After giving it some thought, I'm not entirely convinced toys are arriving broken. I run a fledgling (read: super-tiny sole proprietorship) manufacturing business and spend a good amount of time assembling/disassembling products. Given that experience, if I'm Hasbro, there's zero chance that I'm having employees transform toys before shipping them out. I would want all of the tolerances sufficiently snug and for all of the ratchets to make a crisp and satisfying click for the buyer to enjoy on day 1. I'm betting that the *majority* of damages we've seen online thus far are the product of folks following Hasbro's instructions but applying a little too much force or applying force along a sub-optimal vector. Is Hasbro blameless? No. I think Hasbro shoulders much of the blame for failing to anticipate this entirely avoidable situation during product development.

Your best guess at a fanmode is righteous. Well done! I'm not familiar with the animation or the earlier mainline release of these figures so I can't really suggest any alternatives.
I feel bad for those folks whose bot(s) arrived broken or broke during transformation. But I'm exceedingly thankful for the folks who got theirs before me and put out an alert on the potential QC issues. I **rarely** transform my bots - hardly ever handle them out of packaging because I don't have any room to display them - but at least now I know what to keep an eye on next time I pull them out of storage.

¥4,000 more than HLJ, and another ¥6,000 shipping. I think I’ll just wait to see what the prices are after release for this one…
...and yet your handle is "Sanity is Optional?" 🙂 Preach on, brother. I might fall victim to the late tax on this one, but I'm with you on wait-and-see.

Did you do Deathsaurus? I eventually backed it, but not until Deathcobra was funded. I guess we'll see if it takes me longer to get him next year than all the early backers, or if there's some other method to their madness.
Got my shipping notice from Hasbro: Both are scheduled to arrive Wednesday.
I wasn't/am not all that familiar with Deathsaurus so I didn't bother ordering. The figure looked fine and the price wasn't terrible given everything included. Just didn't have a connection to the character.

Dang, that's fast! Mine was originally saying it should arrive Saturday, but last I checked FedEx is now saying Tuesday.
I'm jealous. I ordered two (in the same order) within milliseconds of the preorder option going live. I'm wondering now if ordering more than one somehow puts you at the tail end of the queue.

So I am about halfway through Solo Leveling S2. Its not bad, better then I expected it to be. I do have a nitpick though.,... and its not just this series that has this issue. The fight scenes are very sloppy, I understand its supposed to emulate speed, but its just random images and blurs with sound effects. Some are better then others.. but 2 are terrible.. 1 is the fight with the high orc boss... and 2 is the Demon King fight. Its literally flashy images with sounds then a pause showing the character.. then more flashy images and other random fight type imagery and then pause. Its just not very fluid, seems 2nd rate.
I could not disagree more. I love how blurring the visuals really captures just how crazy-fast and frenetic the action is to a bystander, because we, the audience, are bystanders ourselves. You might not have gotten far enough into season 2 to see three scenes where highly skilled hunters are dumbfounded that they can't follow the action because it drives home the point just how OPed our protagonist is compared to S ranks. Those particular scenes would have been far less impactful for me if the animators had animated smooth and clear visuals of each battle. My preferences aside, I totally get your point and I can understand someone wanting a bit more from the animation. I can't wait for season 3!

I love everything about it. "Too much tampo. Garish colors. My imagination can't cope with inner-wing sculpting." Can’t please everyone. I'll take three in every color.
