well said! I am using direct credit card too. Better conversion rate and no extra service fees.

So I've glued back the Yamato display stand connector (the tip is broken). And testing some repair work.

Earlier was testing to add the broken tip with 3D pen PLA but it didn't work. Too weak to support SV-51's weight. Then tested few ways of AB casting.

Finally, got mine too from HobbySearch. Not too much crumple on the shipper brown box. I just realized Nora released had cancelled the window box display. WHY!? I like the convention box since Yamato that have a window can see through the fighter. 

Anyway, hope the Arcadia one can last longer and doesn't change color over time like my Yamato's one (both wing's hinges).

Yes it does. Speaking of digging out the old Nora, I took it out have a look while having the "thirst" of waiting the Acardia one. My display stand's adaptor somehow broke and all fell down on the floor. 😭

Managed to glue everything back but no longer perfect.

That breakage looks consistent with it having been taken out of the packaging and dropped by someone and it landing on its left side. Definitely not like that from the factory unless a worker dropped and broke it then picked it up and tossed all the parts inside and hoped no one noticed.

Exactly, the shop seller gave me the explanation was that someone sabotaged it before mailing it to me.

Yes, managed to return it. phew....

This was the broken unit that I shared about having two legs issue and selling cheaper. But when I received it, it is more broken parts. 

Anyone got your Nora? Mine still stuck at Customs. Already 5 days and yet to release. 

However, I am happy to receive pre-owned Ivanov. 

I have phobia and been receiving broken unit last time.

Thank goodness this time is perfect one.

I don't mind picking up a set though, just to collect the whole set, and I actually kind of enjoy putting little bits and pieces of the different armor sets together.  Those big ballistic and beam cannon attachments are kind of fun, even without the rest of the set.

Got my Kiki today and applied on my Yamato SV-51 Nora's folded wing. The result is amazing! Thanks for recommending such a good tool.

Yes, same here, really like the Ivanov version. Too bad I am late to the party. Can't get any now. Previously saw the last piece from Hobby-Genki and later was told it was a listing error. 

When I looked for SV-51 Nora yesterday and found out that Hobby Genki has the last piece of SV-51 Ivanov. So I checked out just today. Hopefully this unit has no problems such as same ankle.

This is my first time using Hobby Genki. Are they reliable?

I also just paid 36800yen for the SV-51. Bit cheaper than AmiAmi (37600yen). Such a relief to see this SV-51 is not sold out in seconds like DX Chogokin.

Anyway, I didn't preorder it.

I can't make up mind to get Arcadia one or old Yamato. I searched over the Internet, some said the Arcadia joints are better but also at the same time I am confused as some of the collectors also mentioned that it is equal loose as Yamato.

What I found out are:

1. Arcadia has diecast parts.

2. Arcadia has better cavity to fill up gaps and holes.

3. Arcadia has no stand, stand purchase separately.

4. Yamato has gap everywhere on the fighter mode.

5. Yamato has loose joints and no diecast part.

6. Yamato has display stand included.

7. Price is cheaper on Yamato one

 

Brothers here who are having both Arcadia and Yamato, can share some lights? Especially the joints performance. And I saw a lot Acardia is having issue with the both left legs. Can anyone share the picture if it can still stand by itself without a display stand?

I actually came across a local store selling off slightly cheaper Arcadia one with both left legs issue. Is it worth to buy? If the leg issue not obvious on fighter mode, I am considering it over Yamato.

Just to update I received my SV-51 but returned it. The unit is not just same ankle issue but also with broken wing and flap. Too bad, perhaps need to wait for Nora release. But I have Yamato version already. I just want an Arcadia Ivanov.

Both of mine are okay. Same as bro Anasazi37, popped off a few times while installing. But now it stays firmly. Applied some force to snap-in.
