Thanks for the suggestion. I gave it a try and here's what I got from their "live" chat: I'm sorry but we only have access to basic information here in chat support. Kind Regards Nippon-yasan.com Customer Service ---------------------- This was my first (and LAST!) time I ordered anything from NY so I don't know if it's "normal" for them to cancel your order and give you store credit instead of issuing a refund. I'm even skeptical that they'll send one (of the two) sets I ordered, as stated in their email above. Stupid me paid with my PP balance instead of using a credit card and I'm waaaay past the 6 month period with no recourse. It seems anyone that "upgraded" their shipping got their sets while anyone who chose the Ferry option are SOL. An expensive lesson, for sure. I sure hope some of you guys have better luck than I did.

Was going to paint the kit before assembly but couldn't wait to see how it would look: Gonna take it apart to paint (due to blemishes and scratches on some of the pieces), fix some tolerances and add an LED -- but even in this raw state it displays very nicely. Thanks to @valhary for producing the resin kit, and special thanks to @Xigfrid for designing such an awesome bird. My Macross Plus display is finally complete!

Online reviews are no worse (or better) than Nin-Nin but that's not saying much.

Congrats! Glad to see at least SOMEONE getting something from NY. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the two Strike sets I ordered over a year ago (which I switched to Ferry over a month ago and have yet to ship)... <crickets chirping...> <tumbleweeds rolling by...>

I tried to sell my significant other, but because she's so bitchy they ended up charging me to take her --> so it was cheaper to keep her. On another note: this is my first time using FJ. After all is said and done, how much extra would you predict I will have to pay to get this is my hands (i.e. charge #2)?

I haven't posted in a while but I'd like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate Nippon-Yasan. Today marks exactly one year since I pre-ordered and paid for 2 sets of the Bandai DX Chogokin Super/Strike parts. Neither set has yet to ship. I've sent many inquiries and the only response I got was either upgrade to UPS shipping for $50 EACH (!) or downgrade to Ferry for free -- yet no mention of WHEN they would ship. This marks the first time where I've paid a vendor up front, in full WITH shipping included, and that vendor either hasn't shipped the product or offered a refund. Congrats, NY! This definitely deserves special recognition...
