  1. This bad boy is really heavy. Color scheme is what I like (soft colors and not too punchy).

Nice details, lots of possible movements, legs can also swivel.

My only disappointment is that the front boosters are using a single peg, to connect to the front wheel. 2 pegs (or any other alternatives) would be better.

So these 2 front boosters can wobble and are not steady.

  2. For the size of this Thread, Sentinel could have designed fully articulated hands.

Also missiles should be included by default, for this price, without considering the notion of "store exclusive" or not "store exclusive".

  3. Considering its size, it would be great if the Ride Armor from Moshow Toys had articulated fingers.

The elephant feet look a bit strange, maybe for more posing stability (?)

For the rest, this toys looks great. Also, it does not have weird pants/pyjamas, so that's much better ! 😀

What file did you use @manfred17? Did you just go across the entire face evenly or did you make an initial rough pass in that 'groove' you highlighted? May just be my stanky old wizard eyes but in the first photo it looks like you did a first pass on that 'groove' at the bottom of the 'slope' and then went across the face of the entire section evenly from there in the second. Definitely achieved desirable results. A shame that Bandai dropped the ball on this one.

I used this tool to reduce the thickness of the part shown in red frame, in order to have more clearance and make everything align correctly.

Any other equivalent tool ou sanding tool can do the job. As you can see, it is not perfect, but the result is fine for me.

I also used this same tool to reduce the thickness of the wing pegs.

Again, if you plan to do this, do it little by little and check the result, in order not to get the issue become worse...

That does help.  I think the root problem is that those arm panels are so hard to slide.  If they actually reach the position they're supposed to, everything lines up pretty well, but they love sticking, and there's no really any good way to grip them.

On my copy, the canon still goes downward even the arm panels are slided to the max position.

One solution is to do some sandings. For the price, this is unacceptable from Bandai. This is not a plug-and-play toy, but a plug-and-sand-before-play toy !!!

I’m loving the redesign overall but the ugly gaps near the shoulders are triggering my OCD. The leg doesn’t even snap into place by the forward intake vent , it just pops out of place.

That is what I have tried to explain previously.

In most videos, we can clearly see this issue. The gun is pointing downwards and is wabling, because no additionnal peg to maintain it or design issue.

pre-order open below.. they seem to be a newer vender with mixed reviews tho

According to some forums, this company has been created by some ex-employees from Nippon Yasan. They still have my money from my 2020 pre-order of 4 SSP + other stuffs (equiv. to +500USD). The pre-order for VF 31-AX and VF-25 are available on their shop, but I am not confident because of my own (and very bad) experience with NY and because I hate NY.

Hi guys, my super parts got refunded from Nippon-Yassan as credit... Then I kinda abandon the project, but then realized that I really want it and need it!

anyone knows where I can get super parts for decent price?

or can anyone can hook me up with one of his extras?

    Thank you

As for my Super Parts order, Nippon-Yasan doesn't hear anything and keeps asking me to open tons of useless tickets.

I have contacted PAYPAL to request a refund. If credits go to store, I may expect same issue and waste time.

Nippon Yassan saying they didn't receive their TV super parts.

    Anyone else hear anything else?

I have pre-ordered 4 SSP in 2019. So far, no news. I have contacted support, opened many tickets, no update.

Then I have pre-ordered 4 SSP in 2020. So far, no news also. They keep asking me to open a new ticket, in order the support reply to my previous ticket.

I needed to open a ticket so that they reply to my previous ticket. That is CRAZY !

    NY is just a thief...

Somebody lucked out and got a 1S Roy for 20k on Mandarake. I wonder what was wrong with it. I'd buy one for that price even with a beat up box. They paid maybe $250 after shipping?

Look carefully : this is a used item, with no more detailed information. You may expect some good or not really good surprises...

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask who still has their VF-1 Strike Parts from NY waiting to be shipped?

Me still waiting. My pre-order from june 2019 was on-hold for a while, then after opening many many many tickets to NY support (not possible to contact them directly) my order is in "processing" stage. What a miracle.

So , I am NOT VERY HAPPY with their *bad a^$$!** services  (if we can call these "services") !

  12. This Legioss looks really nice althought it is a tad small. I hope Bandai will have a plan to produce a new Legioss someday, a bigger one, as tall as the old Gakken, or as tall as the DX Chogokin 1/48 VF1.

That's exactly the same as Yamato.

You compare the 1/60 Yamato / Arcadia with the 1/48 Bandai DX. in this case, I agree with you.

I was comparing 1/48 Yamato (the model with the horrible chicken hands) with the 1/48 Bandai DX.

Looking at the comparison pics, there doesn't seem like a big difference in the SSP between the Yammie and Bandai, aside from comically large cannons on the Bandai, large tampos, and the Yammies have better internals.

Bandai Booster has 4 pegs, vs 2 for the Yamato. The 4 pegs make the attachment more secure.
