Does the YF-27 Come with a stand?
It doesn't, but according to this post by Ngee Khiong, one is in development:
Tamashii Web mentioned that with the landing gear, plus the stability of the Gerwalk mode, a display base is not exactly needed. But a display base with adjustable angle is currently under development anyway. To be sold separately. ("現在、角度調整できる別売り台座を開発中です").
Funny thing is they are acknowledging that the stand of the VF-25 is NECESSARY; I, for one, really hate that about the VF-25.
I hope they use all the improvements of the 27 in a new version of the 25

Eyesonme: It is OUT!
NICE!!!!
I wonder if they were able to fix the pilot's colors on time... looks too white to me

Unfortantely I deleted most of my encodes thinking they were faulty and I am busy today maybe tomorrow I will restart the batch.
Ok, thx! In the meantime I'm still looking for a hosting site that can take big-sized files

There's a VF-27 & VF-25F Tornado preview fm GA Graphix?
Look at the long beautiful front landing gear of VF-27
Thanks for the links!
Regarding the VF-25, looks like they used the 1st version in this photoshoot.
Since apparently we're not getting any improvements, at least I hope it's a white VF-25F with the darker / metallic gray details of the reissue (see pic).
edit: uploaded wrong pic, doh!

Ep 49 and the movie are done and ready. Encore has an hour left on the encoder, then I just need to split it up into the 3 separate OVAs.
The thing is though do the VIP mkvs suffer from small Horizontal lines that occasionally appear at the top of the screen when their is a lot of movement, GGemini? Cause I found all my encodes do and I have been trying to find a practical way to remove them for the past 2 days.
I've been checking where to upload the files... everything seems to be torrents now.
Regarding the horizontal lines, I haven't seen any. I watched eps. 45 - 48 over the weekend and I didn't notice anything like that. I'll check again today in the earlier episodes. Did you idetnify any episode in particular where this happens?

I watched the first five episodes of Macross Frontier again and I noticed that the SMS Hangar has a squadron of VF-25 CFs. Does Bandai have plans to release such a thing, or has anyone repainted their VF-25F to CF colors?
In one of the threads (unfortunately can't remember which one) there are pics of a VF-25 CF, custom-made by a member from a VF-25G. It was later sold on eBay if I remember correctly...

I was finally able to take out my VF-19. I like it very much; compared to the VF-25 from the VF100's line, this is WAY better. Although there are removable parts, the main body is fully transformable... i insist, it would’ve been nice if the VF100 line was like this.
Unfortunately... I had the "prong issue". The right shoulder popped out during transformation from fighter to battroid. One of the prongs showed signs of wear on the parts that hold to the slot (in the FIRST transformation). The worst thing is that I saw stress marks on the RED part of the shoulder. I panicked and reattached the arm right away, but I should've taken a pic to show what it looks like. I think this will be a big issue with the upcoming speaker shoulders. I see no other way to replace the shoulders than to pop off the arm.
Prong issue aside, I think this line is going in the right direction. Bandai should've named it VF100's PLUS or something like that because, as many have mentioned, "Hi-Metal" really doesn't make sense since the metal content is minimum.

Anyone interested in High Quality MKVs of M7? I just figured out how to make MKVs with the same subtitle and audio streams, heck even the chapter markers that use in VLC as the DVD video files. The only difference is that the video has been encoded into h264 so they take up a lot less space, but still look every bit as great as the original. Since I divided up the work between two computers it shouldn't take long to put everything onto MKV.
Yes please!! Especially the ones that haven't been uploaded by VIP: ep. 49, encore, movie and dynamite

A;parently they mention here:
http://tamashii.jp/t_item/t_item.php?eid=00021
something about the Blazer Valk and something about Macross Plus too
So far, this line appears to be what many of us expected from the VF100's

Whens the shaving foam release again people?

Nice other series of pics there... (may already have been posted! - sorry if so is the case)
Those are not new, but these are:

I'm really looking forward to this VF but, unfortunately, there appears to be a color difference between the plastic and metal parts

Wow, nice job! It does look WAY better in Gerwalk

Thanks for the news!
If I read your signature correctly... we'll be finally getting the 17!!!!!

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic... here are two of the 4 I have replaced: The right arm of a VF-1J and the left arm of a VF-1S.

hmmm...since everyone who asks about it (including myself) are being ignored, I'll just answer with what I know
the movie has been out since late September 09, but apparently Japanese theaters project movies with an IR signal that block any recording device from catching anything (pretty cool by the way)
so no torrents yet
I clicked on that link of a guy who apparently did screencaps of the whole movie that had some sort of Grace fanservice, didn't see it to not spoil myself, but I'm curious how he got those screencaps
The movie was released in November 21st. No cam versions have appeared online so I guess we'll have to wait until the DVD / BR is released (should be around June or so).
Same thing happened with Evangelion 1.0, no cam recordings were available online until it was shown outside of Japan several months later... by then, the DVD had already been announced.

Thank you very much for the tips... i decided to retry many stages of the missions but that meant losing all the points I had accumulated (hence the D ranking). I'm trying now to finish everything in one swoop (ha!).
Lastly, learn to be patient and take breaks!!! The last thing you want is to throw or smash your psp b/c you couldn't beat Chronicle AFOS for the 15th time!!! Try both Chronicles with "super-dimension hard" at the same time. Then we got something to talk regarding patience.I think the reason why Chronicles and "super-dimension hard" is so difficult is that it forces the casual gamer to stratagize more how to attack and counterattack the enemy than blindly blasting everything in sight. It is very similar to EX Friendly Fire in MAF.
Totally agree with you, after a Large Vajra kept defeating my Macross Quarter over and over again, the risk of throwing my PSP started to be very high
It's nice that these missions make you think of how to defeat the enemy, but the missions are so damn long!
Anyway I shouldn't complain, this game is lots of fun

It's annoying to me, that the hobby mag scan shows the Tornado pack ofn the new bluish-white VF-25F (which I dislike). I hope the production toy comes with a standard white VF-25F.
And yes, I have that magazine and it's definitely shown with the bluish white VF-25F.
Graham
My gf helped me translate the text in that page. According to her, the translation states that the Tornado pack VF-25 will be based on the release from November (read: bluish) with some color variations... I guess this is referring to the red color. The Tornado's red stripes appear to be the same color as the first release and not the darker tone that the bluish VF-25 has.

Finally finished Ultimate Frontier. Everything with S / SS with the exception of the Chronicle missions... those missions are a PITA!
Most of them feature 3 stages with different mechas to use... and the difficulty level is terribly hard. Managed to finish some with a D...
The units you use in these missions need to be totally maxed out most of the time to get at least an A. The one I found most difficult was the Dynamite 7 mission, where you have to use the VF-19P...

Apparently the next volume of the Variable Fighter Master File will be released in January 29th... and now it's for the VF-19
