That's a LOT!
Wait. Out of curiousity. Are you selling this here in the Toys Section or showcasing it?
I am open to selling everything. I am downsizing my life. These things live in storage, out f sight, ignored. No point in keeping them. Any reasonable offer will be considered.

I'd say, keep 2 of each and sell the rest. That way y ou keep 1 mint inside box, and you can display the other.
Definitely a good idea. What are these 1/55s going for nowadays?

The M&M Valk's plus Cannon Fodders are always tempting.
Send a PM.

Awesome collection, you could make some sweet 1/55 customs with those.
Lol, that was the plan for the 1As but it never happened... The custom bug is kinda' out of my system.

Good luck on your impending sale!
Thanks man. Lol. Do we even have a classifieds section any more?

I quit collecting. Now I want to dump pretty much everything.
1/55s, 1/60s 1/48s. I have boxes full of them. I even have four M&Ms in each size I think I want to part with. I also have lots of ROBOTECH stuff (Alphas, SDF-1, Zentraedi pods, etc.).
I will lose money overall, but they just sit in my closets in plastic tubs doing nothing so why have them?
I spent my life acquiring things with dreams of a nice display room Now I just feel weighed down.

Looks great!

Ah that reminds me of my Tiger Meet that I sold. I miss that thing. It was pretty cool.
Good going.

1/55 with the thigh mod is the shizzle.

and the reason for the mystery...
Great example of how sunlight turns them yellow, not heat or humidity like some try to claim. Excellent picture.

For 1/48 Yamato I go with fighter.
Everything else I pretty much like Gerwalk/Guardian mode.

Be careful using inkjets. The ink fades with exposure to light and you will wind up with a dull or nonexistent decal.
I try to use laser printers when I can. I don't have the fancy machine like Devin had so it is the next best thing. I've been told the decal paper can damage the printer but haven't seen that yet...

Panel lining is done with oil washes. There is also some airbrushed pre & post shading to bring it out. My technique is more subtle than some I have seen. It really does not stand out in these images, better in person.
Less is more in that regard. Yours is spot on here.

You are right about the upper intakes. But that is one of the last things to be done. I am trying to decide if I go with a decal, paint, or pencil shading there. I put the decal on to see how it looks. I am leaning that direction for sure...
Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks guys. The right arm doesn't match the left in the photos because I was experimenting with a different color scheme. I will fix that.
Much left to do on it.
- Canopy
- Nose Blisters
- Swivel Thigh
- Various Filling of Joints and Screw Holes
- Foot Thruster Mod
- Arm Slider Filling
But it is getting there...
The wing mounted magnets are working great. I learned a thing or two doing those.

Devin made a custom set for me that is still bone white. I used the Microscale Liquid Decal Setting Solution on it and a gloss coat from Krylon or Rustoleum. The model has spent equal time in storage and on display. I don't have it behind a UV protective glass (though I wish I did) but the decals have held up perfectly. So far I haven't experienced any problems with Anasazi's stuff... My only complaint is that he quit making them.

I have decided to make this a VF-1D (VF-1F) Wild Weasel instead of a J. Got one of the swivel thighs and the other arm installed. I am building this one for Kanata since he has been so kind to donate tons of parts to me over the years... My camera is just not getting it done. It looks clear when I shoot but comes up blurry when I download. Driving me *NUTS*. The overhead really shows off the aggressive swingbar taper. It makes a ton of difference in the way the Valk looks. They almost appear like they belong there.
