What happened to older wm cheng build-up threads?

I'm looking for his Hasegawa YF-19 build up in particular.

It was me. thanks to valkyrie for the great kit. I'm just a rookie at this, and I didn't find the kit too difficult. John Lester asked me to do the review. You guys should contribute some of your stuff to SSM as well. Its a great group of guys over there. Valk and I know many of them through this local club we belong to.

1/72 SF-3A Lancer 2 kit

I've ordered from them before w/o problems.

If I recall correctly, the 5000 is from a video game... perhaps VF-X-2. In my opinion, the Star Mirage is one of the most elegant Kawamori designs, and we'll probably never see a Yamato toy of it. Thus, a resin kit such as this is the only way I'll ever grab one, and that's why I voted for it.

First of all, it's bigger than I expected. I knew it'd be bigger than the VF-1, but still, it took be by surprise.

Coupla of dumb questions: what do you mean that it's bigger than a VF-1? Isn't is supposed to be in same scale (1/72)?

By the way, Skwong, how didja do the base for this kit? It looks painted yet it has a sort of photographic quality (at first glance and based on the detail of the posted picture) on the detail.

And Godfather, I don't have a problem getting you a box and gunpod, but I think it'll have to wait til I'm a little less busy.... like after the Full Armor VF-11 is done.

If you can, send me the gunpods first. As for the boxes, I was joking (although I wouldn't mind just one).

Just look at the cadaver trail of good (and potentially good) scifi/fantasy shows that are left whenever Fox touches them: Firefly, Alien Nation, Space: Above and Beyond, The Visitor, Forever Knight, Harsh Realm, Brimstone, VR5, etc., etc., ad nauseum. <_<
