Hello All, I have a question for the forum. I just heard that Bandai is going to re-release the Hi-metal R valkryies that were released over the past few months (e.g. vf-1a and vf-1s) with the integrated landing gear and a fuselage with a removable pilot. Has anyone else heard this as well? This would really suck as I have a small fortune invested in these models. I imagine others would be pissed as well as these upgrades were requested when the hi-metal line was originally released in 2010.

Hello, Fellow Macross fans thanks again for all the info on shipping and import taxes posted a few days ago. It was greatly appreciated. So about the quality of the Bandai "Hi-Metal R" vf-1s Roy Fokker 1:100 valkryie, it seems that lately that some people have had issues with the toy being complete. Is this common with bandai toys in general or is it really a freak occurance? Also what do you call that piece that is missing? Did the member that reached out to Nippon Yasan hear anything back from them as far as replacement of the part was concerned? Any info is, as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks again in advance.

When you order from Nippon Yasan and similar dealers from Japan is there an import tax you must pay before you are able to receive your item from the shipper? How, where and when do you pay it and what is the percent? Any insight from anyone on the forum would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. For your help.

Hi All, I just placed an order a few days ago for a grand worth of macross stuff with Nippon Yasan. I kind of wished I had checked them out before hand. I didn't really pay much attention to their fine print but saw that they reserve the right to change ordered items out with other items at their discretion. I am hoping I get what I wanted in my order but am kind of nervous and not sure. Has anyone had problems with them before or are they pretty reliable and honest? Also what's up with the discount system? Not really clear on how it works. They have some kind of "level up" as well as point system has anyone ever used this before and if so could you explain? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello All, Pardon the question but I am kind of new to this whole thing. What does it mean when something is called a Web exclusive? OK I am thinking exclusively available on the web but does it also mean fewer produced than a non web exclusive? Would that also mean more expensive as well? This is in reference to the Roy Fokker bandai vf-1s hi metal r 1:100. Thanks in advance for the education.

Does anyone know if there is information out somewhere on when the rest of the Valks in this line will be released (eg.VF-1s, VF-1j, VF1d...etc)? I still can't believe that this first release will not even be shipped until September. If this is how Bandai operates than it appears that a new Valk or any of the other mecha will be coming out one at a time for the next few years. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Hello - I have heard that if these are released some dealers in the states won't sell them due to legal issues around distribution rights. Does anyone have a dealer that they use on a regular basis for purchasing Bandai items from Japan in general? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. When the "R Hi Metal" 1:100 Bandai toy line does get released I intend to buy big Thanks for any insight you fellow Macrosser may have.

I was wondering does anyone know when the R Hi Metal Bandai 1:100 scale toys will be available to purchase as well as a good place to purchase them? There is not a lot available here in the midwest. By the way what is the difference between this version and the line released in 2010? Any and all insight would be greatly appreciated.
