This noobie has some questions concerning the 1/48 perfect tranc Angel Birds VF-1A. The 1A has always been my favorite of the designs so I'm wondering why this one became a "shelf warmer" and why it's price seems the lowest on the aftermarket. Were there issues? Or was it just not a fan favorite?
Also at what year did the 1/48 scale figures get the perfect tranc upgrade? I don't know if I'm actually going to look for any 1/48 but I like to ask a lot of questions....in case you hadn't noticed already.

Don't know if it would ever happen but I'd love a VF-0A....you know minus any issues. The pictures I've seen online are truly beautiful. And the VF-1A has always been my fav bot head. Something about the single laser cyclops look I guess.

Ahh thanks

As soon as it pops up with retailers again I'm snagging one

I'd love to see a 1/6 scale custom zentraedi. Well that would be 1/24. Wait what is the human to zentraedi ratio again?

That's why it's going bye bye

Oh I love the quality of those. Nice haul

Very good points. It eases my concerns. And I def want an updated Roy figure. I only have the masterpiece one with beetlejuice shrunken head. I threw it on eBay. Wish me luck because it selling will ease the purchase of this one 😀

I think you will be quite pleased with the VF-1S. It is a tried and true design that and is considered by many the pinnacle of Macross toys. I own several and love them all. The Bandai's are good for what they are but there were sacrifices made due to the scale when it comes to the VF's.
I would highly recommend checking out anymoon.com for detailed information and reviews. It was a great resource for me when I got back into the hobby last year.
Anymoon is where I read about the vf0a actually. Which is a shame. I much prefer that to any of the other "newer" valk designs.

Still showing sold out. But I want to ask some questions from those of you that have these and bandai 1/100 valkyries. I've read some horror stories on some of these arcadia figs either breaking or just being difficult to transform or put the accessories on. As I said before I'm on poor single dad budget so I'm pretty limited. If I but an arcadia it's basically a huge treat for me. Now I did just buy hi metal monster. Very impressed with build quality there. So in your honest opinion would a guy like me do better to wait and see what bandai offers next instead? I agree the arcadia figs are gorgeous but if I throw over 200 at a toy I need it to not break from simple transform or assembly. I was actually debating a vf0a.....until I read reviews

Looks like they sold out again
I'm starting to convince myself I don't actually need this however.

Oh sweet thanks

So you guys know of any online retailers that still have the arcadia strike on p.o.? If I don't find one I might end up getting something else

Thought we had similar thread before?
ANyway, here's what's left

Still trying to get my Imai/ Bandai VF-1S together:
Just got JB Weld, but I should have gotten the Kwikweld version instead. Anyways, scrapped the original inner backplate and scratched up a new one. I'll be mounting the arm and chest joints to it.
(Honestly, these days I wish I has a Yamato v.2 VF-1S, but income issues means even JB weld is a strain on the budget)
Hoping to have this one finished by March....er...2025. O.o
Oooh a chunky custom

Unfortunately i don't think arcadia will re-release the elint anytime soon.
I know. But I'm literally just getting back into this hobby. The most recent figures I had purchased were the first release elint and ostrich.
Unless you count the toynami masterpiece line. I can't even remember which came out most recently. But what I'm saying is I have a lot to buy so no rush for those. What I'm focused on now is the Arcadia strike. Hoping I'm not late to the party on that one. I see the pre-orders are all shut down.
-
So when perfect trans elintseeker was released the price was around 180 USD.
is this correct? if it is I think I better just wait and see what Arcadia might come out with. Aftermarket prices are over double that.
-
My site has all the MSRPs in the release list.
Thanks man
-
Do you guys happen to remember what perfect trans super ostrich went for? Debating hunting one down at some point would like to see if I get lucky and find one close to the original retail.
-
Had anyone heard of a possible arcadia vt1 or ve1? I'm curious if I should try to hold out
-
Tell me about it. If you are into this hobby and still have money in the bank... you're doing it wrong.
I had to quote this. It's too funny....and so true.

Don't worry sir. All of us here are poor too. We kept being robbed by those Japanese stores every month.
