  1. And yes, there is a valk inside!! Haha, was a bit freaked out by the sight of the cardboard cover, as this is my first DX Chogokin valk and I was expecting a plastic tray covering Yamato/Arcadia style. It's gorgeous in person!

Thank you, thank you, and thank you for posting that amazing Amazon listing, ULessa! I got a shipping notice shortly after I ordered, but no tracking number. I figured the seller must have shipped unregistered SAL, but couldn't help but worry a bit, haha. Seller completely came through and again, thank you ULessa!

Already got a VF-25A on the way (paid $144 shipped for it, not nearly as good as $92 shipped  but I figured it was still decent) so I can recreate a little section of the hangar scene from the Macross F movie.

    Thank you again, ULessa!!

Glad that you got your stuff! Its always nice to get a cheap Valk!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing that, I think I bought the last one. For those wondering what the big deal was, it was priced at just $91.63 with free shipping.

Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical that the seller is going to deliver, because that price is just too good to be true! If it arrives though, I'll definitely be back to thank you again, ULessa!

Well, no harm in trying. If anything happens you'll get your money back anyway (fingers crossed)

I did get a YF-29 30th Anniversary for $110 on Amazon so I'm damn happy with that (THINK its new, didn't transform to check joints)

  3. I took that photo before Luca parts came out.

This is the last photo before they gone into hibernation while I study abroad.

Same situation as you and it hurts to not see them pretty birds. I have Valks beings shipped abroad and I dread the idea of hauling things back home... half way across the globe...

  4. Clearing space for Chronos. No shipping notification yet from NY. Not in a rush either so I shall wait patiently. :)

Seeing your Ozma is making me contemplate whether or not to transform it into Battroid from Fighter!!! Really really want to get my 30!

  5. Nice! My second unit from CDJ might make it out of Japan before the holiday, has changed to shipping in progress.

No stats on my order but everything should be shipped out in 2 days anyway.

  6. Don't give Bandai any ideas! If they produce an Ozma or Roy 30, I dread the PO insanity.

I think a Roy 30 would be a hard sell since the most logical change would just be the red stripes replaced with yellow. That change would be too small and make a lot of people call them out for repainting something so tiny. Ozma on the other hand would just create PO hell...

  7. Thanks but looks like the layer sprayed on top is protecting it. Guess this will be my rough and tumble 30, while the second is my spare. Not

Much to do about that. Just find it annoying the factory worker wiped lunch on my valk (-.-)"

    ...

If it really bothers you its possible to get rid of it by sanding down the said part with really fine steel wool or sand paper. One you've done that you will have to clean it up with a buffer. To be safe you'll also have to mask off the parts will run through the buffer to avoid polishing off any unwanted parts. Alot of work for sure :X

  8. Got a smear on the canopy, as if someone touched it with greasy food-hands, but it's a small patch and hardly noticeable. However, it was probably sprayed with an overcoat as I can't clean it, but can feel the slight raised contours.

Any tips and tricks to remove?

Micro fiber wipe if you wanna be 100% safe.

EDIT: I wonder if the 171 armor parts would be worth it as an add-on (will get the 171 one day... one day...)
