anybody have pics to what black part is everyone referring to? I"m a lil lost somewhere..

the part I am refering is here : for the urban gbp is white , on the gbp II is black (circled red)

I have a similar problem with the black stripe on my GBPII

I just examined 2 GBP II on the shelf in a toy shop, the black stripes are very well painted.

and on another toy shop, the urban GBP has a decent paint job on the white stripes too.

so I guess when one is to purchase those GBP, one must pay closer attention and select the better ones.

yesterday I took a peep of a urban GBP set on display, couldn't help noticing the paint job on the white stripes below the knee was badly painted. very coarse .

so far I have only examined one, is this normal for Urban GBP ?

just want to know becos if this this common for the batch , then probably I will wait for the re-issue hopefully then the "defect" will be corrected.

yap , in fact I saw two in akiba roughly one month ago , one MIB 37000+ yen , another have some box wear abt 32000+ yen

of course sometimes u do get some good deals in yahoo japan. got mine for abt 30000 yen total shipped from yahoo jap not long ago

Deimos, what's up with the blank 1/48 VF-1S? Is it just a real world custom? On my monitor it looks a bit off... like you stripped an LV1, added a white VF-1S head to it, and then somehow bleached the whole thing. My brightness setting is probably all f'ed up making it look odd but do tell about that custom.

think is my camera screw up the picture again , always have bad luck in getting a decent camera or that I need lessons in taking good photos

the custom is not much work really, just a normal LV fitted with painted rohby''s recast 1s head

just took out mine SDF-1, one question abt the shoulders, u can't really rotate it , can't u ?

I have to pull out the two shoulders , rotate it , then fix them in the process of tranforming it to "battroid" mode

wave should made it to a ball joint to allow more poseablility
