    the winning bidder also won that 1/48 focker for 700+ dollars. maybe now is a good time to put some macross stuff on auction and hope that this guy wants it.

    looks like the guy is a big spender :(apart from the whopping 700 + roy focker)

    Looking for the following recast parts :

    a) 1/55 elintseeker armour parts whole set (except the head recast)

    b) 1/55 elintseeker arm armour and antennas (circled parts)

    I took a brief inspection of my combo set, the only thing so far that annoys is the slightly bend nose cone antenna at the front.

    too bad my combo set came shrink wrapped, if not I shouldn't have this imperfection ;)

    My little comment...

    Good thing is that the shoulder joint on the Shine's one dose not feel loose any more... ^_^

    In battroid mode, even with Ghost attached, it is able the stand In Battroid mode without any support , but it also limits the posablity a lot. <_<

    Pulling out the rear landing gear is pain in the ass... almost broke my nail :wacko:

    small request , can u post a picture of the battroid holding the gunpod; arms stretched gunpod parallel to ground ?

    another comment contributed by recon :(that is u are able to handpick yr combo set)

    "you may want to check for the paint job on the chest stripes..spotted a few pieces with overspray. As for checking the paint job for the chest stripes...just peep below the ghost at a 45 degree angle at both left/right side (as u lift up the box flaps) "

    ^_^ I thought this was a pretty nice buy, and it finally arrived in the mail! ^_^

    Makes up in some ways for the misses on the 1S/1J bookends, and I think it comes pretty close to RT Junkie's bookend buy for $150. I wouldn't have been online normally at that time, but I'm sure glad I did. And to think it was due to another VE-1 I was hoping to snare for a good price (which I didn't). But that's another story. :wacko:

    ya bobe is right, my aim is to learn how to transform the toy so as to be able to ""play" / dispaly the toy.

    not looking to complete it with instruction manual.

    if u anyone can take some time off to scan the instructions and send to me, I can / will pay for the effort

    if there is offer to sell the instructions sheet, it all will depends on the price. not really looking forward to pay any "extra" becos it is a instruction sheet for a vintage toy :lol:

    running a search on akibahara yields several result that might be of use to u. U can pose followup questions on the thread itself :)

    akibahara is a fun filled place, apart from the main street which u can find some prominent toy shops , do remember to venture into the smaller lanes, up the flight of stairs to visit the smaller shops (which u can sometimes pick off cheap valkyries )

    eg, mandrake in akibahara is one such shops. I was lucky , I stumbled upon mandrake unintentionally when I was combing the lanes , saw a VF-0S at 10000 yen, a MP03 at 6000 yen , a takatoku super 1s at 32000 yen (which I ems back) ^_^

    be wary too, some of the toys are used but complete , so take note of the label on the toy item itself.

    if it is used , MISB, MIB it wil be usually stated clearly on the box.

    it is out in japan, my contact in japan will be receiving the standalone Ghost this weekend

    he will hold the ghost until the YF-19 booster is released and then ship both to me ^_^
