Actually, IIRC, there's a variant for both. The Longbow only appeared in some of the earlier editions of the 3025 Tech Readout and the predecessor to the game (Battledroids), where as later tech readouts made mention of the Longbow being phased out in favor of the Crossbow. However, the art for the Longbow was exact, the Crossbow was modified somewhat.

Does anyone have any diagrams from VF-17 and VF-19 transforming model kits, which show exactly how those two Valks transform? I'm trying to make a 3D graphics (Rhino / 3DS Max) version of each, and can't seem to wrap my head around their transforms. Unfortunately, I don't have the $$$ to get a kit or get any vids...

I'd love to see a transforming Papercraft Valk. See, I have about 35 PDF files of "Paperformers", transformers that actually transform. So if they can do it, why not a Valk?

Not quite true... For example: Crossroads: A movie about a young Blues guitarist with classical training who ends up playing against the Devil in a guitar face-off. Crossroads: A pathetic Britney Speares movie with no real discernable plot. On the other hand, if the title includes any copyrighted character names, then yes, it's protected by copyright. For example, Godzilla and Shaft. Or if any other intellectual property is included in the title - like, well, Gundam or Macross.

((Thanks for humoring a newbie, btw)) Does anyone have any clear screenshots of the transform for the VF-17 and the VF-19? I'm trying to make a 3D CGI model of each, and I'm slightly stumped as to how the transform takes place. Also, do their transforms allow waist articulation, even if it's just rotation, unlike the original VF's?
