According to Hobby Search's AND AmiAmi's front pages, their business calendars state that the 24th is a holiday. So you guys have to possibly figure that in to any delays that you might be experiencing (like me). EDIT: Plus, wasn't there a delay when Alto's Renewal re-release came out (preorders) and when it was restocked and stayed on the shelf for a minute.....?? The patience game may be the right call.

How many Japanese sites are out there that are scalp-free for ordering Valks?? I know NY is potentially REALLY bad. I have seen them mark up two specific figures (one on me the other a friend)that were shelf warming only to see them jack the price up even more. The figs are STILL on their site and last time I looked was over a year ago. But I was almost hustled by Big in Japan on a figure that shipped SAL. When the preorder opened, they tried to claim SAL was something like 5200 yen or more than their EMS. I found a preorder for the fig on AmiAmi that shipped SAL for something like 2100 yen. Maybe I should have posted this elsewhere, but I was just looking for a couple of short responses to see if there are sites that I do not know of and if other people have had issues in the past.

It simply depends on if you have other things that you want to ship with it to save money or hassle of multiple packages or both. The cool thing is you have up to 60 days to put items together. THE BAD THING is there is a possibility they screw up the inventory on your order and give you credit or whatever, screwing you out of your item. The system is great for small stuff that is a month or so apart. But if it is an important item, I would ship separately IMO. But you can ship out of that private warehouse at any time - they are just putting a hold on it. EDIT: Never mind, they beat me to it.

I concur. I would only use them if I am TRULY desperate. And I won't be near that until it starts looking a lot like Christmas and still no Ozma. Plenty of time still. Good night all.

So you preorder veterans have gone through this for EVERY Bandai VF purchase. Simply madness.... Looks like HS has the best price so far. I am a little bummed that I couldn't get the preorder through them because of all this. I just wanted to lock in a good price. And I can't trust that I will be around for the next reservation window. Oh well, I shall prevail. Ozma WILL BE MINE.

I have seen this before preordering other stuff which is why I am not panicking. But man, nothing like this. This is insanity. I will try for a bit longer,then to bed.

Jeez. I expected AmiAmi to be rough, but Hobby Search went from long sold out to reservation closed. I didn't even see stock to get teased with. HLJ did'tn show anything....or did NY. Man, skip preordering if it like this. I will keep trying for a bit.

So tonight is the night....I dont know why I thought Japan time was more than 14ish hours ahead of the US. Google is your friend (when they aren't speaking to the NSA). Have the re-releases made the preorder process any easier?? I wouldn't know....

:-) Wow. Y'all need to breathe. Have faith. Not in your fellow man, but cold hard currency. Bandai wants in on the scalping action - these last couple of releases (25F and RVF) PROVE it beyond doubt. If things were still as bad as a couple of years ago, a noob like me would MAYBE be able to land a version 1 25F for three bills. Thank whatever higher power you believe in that this is not the case. I am calling it now - there will be 25Ses available WITHOUT preorder upon release. Beating the scalpers to them is the only issue I see. EDIT: and I mean after everyone's preorders with their multiple accounts, scalpers included, are taken care of.

Who WOULDN'T be interested in that?? Those prices ain't bad at all... Damn being broke atm.....

Wouldn't that be the 31st at around 2am?? EDIT: 3am EST, but the important thing being the 31st instead of the 1st? It is all more than good. And like I said, I am not as hardcore....that looked like a tornado from that angle to me, but I see what you all are saying. But does that mean we CAN'Tget a 25-S tornado pack? Or must we take a second mortgage out for the scalped armor or super parts kits....?? Dammit.

Haha, I actually do use the old terms . But only because I have not familiarized myself with the original material. Which I am looking forward to doing other than Macross 7. But don't you worry, I at least realize the scourge of our fandom, Harmony Gold, for what it is....but I digress.
