I saw it last month in the theatre and while I enjoyed the first half (the reimagining of the OYW) which I believe was shoehorned in for “reasons” , I absolutely hated the second half - it just turned into another version of The Witch From Mercury.
i don’t think we’ll see much reference to anything U.C. after this. That being said, it was awesome seeing Gundam on the big screen. I hope the next part of Hathaway is released in theatres too.

I’m guessing Elizabeth Olsen. She said in a few interviews that she doesn’t want to be a part of anymore avengers movies after they screwed things up in that Dr Strange movie. She didn’t specify if that means out of the mcu altogether or just out of Avengers stuff. I guess she was angry about constant changes and such. But being honest, she’d probably take the paycheck if it’s offered
I still don’t understand how / why she lost her accent between Age of Ultron and Civil War.

It doesn't hurt that Aaron Paul is a phenomenal actor and gave a great VA performance, he really sold the whole conflict and character.
I knew that it was Aaron Paul, but all I kept hearing was an angry Homer Simpson.

With all the origami going on, I would thought it'd be simple to just fold the loincloth in half which would look better. Regardless, the alt mode looks quite sleek and I would be all over it if it weren't for the dull colors.
Touch Toys seems to have a thing for loin cloths

Where did that articulated hand come from?

For mechs this scale, the builder is most likely using these Technic turntables controlled by worm gears to effect rotation. They can handle a far greater load than the smaller purpose-made ratcheting joints which makes them ideal for large scale builds. The UCS AT-AT, for example, uses them in the hips and knees. Very effective. The only drawback is that they are not quickly or easily poseable relying on the manual rotation of a knob or a special tool, like the AT-AT, to effect rotation, a slow process.
Thx!
Worm gear was the first thing that came to mind. I was just thinking maybe LEGO came up with something more robust and practical for larger mech builds by now.

Wow... that looks awful.
I thought it was ugly when I could only see bits and pieces of it in the trailer, but seeing the whole thing at once is just 🤮.
Does it have three arms in this picture? And what the hell is going on with its feet? I can't tell if it has elf shoe-style feet or it's got spiked stiletto heels like something out of Five Star Stories.
Its name is "G-Quacks"... I guess it invites the inevitable joke that the production team certainly are.
In development since 2018 and this is what they decided was showready? Yeesh.
Uuuuuuugly. I thought it was something from Virtual On at first glance.
It looks like it has something protruding off its back making it look like it has 3 arms.
And then the feet: I’m thinking it’s like half of a foot with a single pivot point on one side with a bit of a stiletto heel. Not sure. Definitely don’t care.
Now give me the next part to Hathaway, gundamit!!

With all the talk about actual Spider-Man movies, I forgot about this one
I thought it was already released and bombed so hard nobody talked about it.

I'm not sure thy could pull off an 89 Batwing without some massive weirdness to use the wings, but that old F-19 concept would make a solid platform for a transformer, just because it's such a solid brick of a plane with not much wing to get in the way.
Granted, it might wind up needing some Sv-262 style plastic origami to transform into a chunky robot of any sort, but I am surprised we've never really seen that one.
On the other hand, I'm actually disappointed we didn't see them pull out an X-30 Conquest crossover during all of the GI Joe releases. All they really had to do was repaint this one.
I have the yellow repaint Terrordive and he’s such an under appreciated figure IMO - great bot mode with really good articulation for the time, and a plane mode that doesn’t have arms hanging off the side.

That’s a very surprising price. I was expecting closer to $300.
Tempting…

It’s amazing what a difference white landing gear makes.
Great work Lolicon!

Basara is the ultimate anti-Anime protagonist for my tastes, while the fire valk belongs in Transformers.
I always thought it belonged in a Happy Meal.

There’s a lot of weird stuff going on with this thing. It looks like it even uses an updated version of the old Chunky Monkey style swing bar.

You can check the Kids Logic thread where prototype of the Fighter and Guardian has already been posted when it got announced on page 3 and colored sample during SDCC2024 on page 4.
Thx.
That went from hard pass to extra ultra hard pass supreme. What a gappy mess.

Ya, it looks like the landing gear is simply moulded in white. I bet dollars to donuts they’ll paint them silver lol!
