  1. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is the latest film in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter universe, taking place over 70 years before Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone. Directed by David Yates (Harry Potter 5-8, The Legend of Tarzan) and marking Rowling's screenwriting debut, the film stars Eddie Redmayne (Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, Balem in Jupiter Ascending) as the wizard Newt Scamander.

The film opens today, and it's already received good reviews. Four more sequels are already in the works.

"A Good Time, No Alcohol Required"

    "A-"

    "85% and 60%"

    Official Site

Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 77% - "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them draws on Harry Potter's rich mythology to deliver a spinoff that dazzles with franchise-building magic all its own."

Metacritic Score: 65 out of 100

  2. Survivor Series is this Sunday on PPV and the WWE Network. Here's the card:

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman)

    - Twelve years ago at WrestleMania XX, they had one of the worst matches ever booked in wrestling history, with Goldberg taking the win. For this rematch, expect Lesnar to F5 Goldberg for a few good reasons: 1) Canada hates Goldberg for the kick that retired Bret Hart; 2) Lesnar has dual U.S./Canadian citizenship; and 3) Goldberg just injured his shoulder while attacking the security guards this past Monday on RAW.

Team RAW (Kevin Owens/Chris Jericho/Roman Reigns/Braun Strowman/Seth Rollins) vs. Team SmackDown (AJ Styles/Dean Ambrose/Bray Wyatt/Randy Orton/Shane McMahon) (with James Ellsworth)

    - Expect Team RAW to win, as the animosity between Styles and Ambrose, as well as Orton looking for time off, will adversely affect Team SmackDown. Oh yeah, Ellsworth will jinx the match.

Team RAW (Charlotte/Bayley/Nia Jax/Alicia Fox/Sasha Banks) (with Dana Brooke) vs. Team SmackDown (Nikki Bella/Becky Lynch/Alexa Bliss/Carmella/Naomi) (with Natalya)

    - Expect Team SmackDown to win, as everybody hates Charlotte.

    Team RAW (The New Day/Sheamus & Cesaro/Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson/Enzo Amore & Big Cass/The Shining Stars) vs. Team SmackDown (Heath Slater & Rhyno/The Hype Bros./American Alpha/The Usos/Breezango)

    - Might be the piss-break moment.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: The Brian Kendrick © vs. Kalisto

    - As the Cruiserweight Division is faltering on RAW, expect Kalisto to win and bring all the Cruiserweights to SmackDown Live.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (with Maryse) © vs. Sami Zayn

    - Since the Cruiserweights are going to SmackDown Live, this means that Zayn will take the I-C title to RAW, even though it means a potential conflict with the United States Championship.

  3. Next time I go to Japan, I'd like to get all of those old HG kits as well. But I hear they command a pretty high price due to their rarity. :(

At one point this year, the RX-78 Gundam went as high as 14,000 yen on Amazon.jp. Now it's around 3,000 yen, which is roughly three times its box price. But perhaps the rarest of the four is the ZZ, which is now sold out on Amazon.jp.

  4. Really can't understand why anyone wants more Unicorn. Sick to death with Unicorn unless they release a renewal version with updated mold featuring improved articulation and gimmicks.

Very happy that GP01/FB made it in there along with Ez8 and NT-1.

Also why ZZ?!?!? It's so damn ugly. Haha. Zeta I can understand. It's a very slender, sleep and aggressive design. A MB design would make it a fierce. :p

Unicorn is the current UC cash cow among all Gundam merchandise. Consequently, that has made more people appreciate ZZ due to the back references in the OVA series.

  5. With Gundam F91 paving the way for Universal Century in the Metal Build line, Gundam.info set up a new poll asking fans which Gundam should be next to go MB. And here are the results:

    2. RX-0 Unicorn Gundam

    3. MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam

    4. MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam

  6. Episode 6: "The Watergate Tape"

Directed by Greg Beeman (Falling Skies, Heroes)

The trio follow Flynn to June 20, 1972, during the Watergate scandal. A missing portion of President Richard Nixon's tapes reveals Rittenhouse's involvement and a mention of a secret document. After being nabbed by Flynn, Lucy and Rufus have five hours to bring Flynn the document to save Wyatt's life. However, Rufus is ordered by Rittenhouse to destroy the document once it is found.
