You like the little skull in the camo pattern?
-
dont worry luke id rather wait till after WF anyway. No rush = less risk of equipment causing crash.
-
-
Thats a window mounted AC unit BigF. Something that would sell well in england considering alot of houses done have AC
-
hehehe. Torture isnt it
-
Man everyone seems to be chipping their stuff up since i did that to the tomahawk
Good work Geert

In the enclosed suit, visual impulses are sent directly to the pilots optic nerve.

Help we need paint!!
Well what are ya waiting for!
-
wow no "office space" fans here then.

i believe "venerable dreadnaught/nought" is what he meant.
Actually yes. I dont play the game i just build the things
Also im suprised noone noticed the Innitech mug on my desk. Yeah........Hmmmm......
-
Start building lots of models and get a hobby room
My models gaurantee i get my man room:)
-
It looks like a WH40K primed Terminator standing in front of a primed Tyranid.
BINGO! Give the man a cookie. Or a ride to wonderfest.
Its a venerable terminator in front of a carnifex to be exact.
-
Well Grayson asked for it so here it is. I put 2 of my WF entries on hold for this man so i hope you like it.
Cleaned up the hobby room, cleaned off the desk and arranged the strategic styrene reserve in the closet.
This is a rare opportunity to see my NEW workspace since i move back from england. Its also a rare moment to see my work desk clean.
Yes that is a 1/48 Millennium falcon on the closet floor. The box by the bird of prey is Urethane foam and yes i think i have too much to build.
-
Hey I wanna see a pic of your room with all your models on display.
Right now the place looks like a war zone since im in WF gear up mode. Its not every day ones wife agrees to give him 21 days of uninterrupted modeling time if needed.
Once its organized again ill take some pics but it isnt forseeable in the near future.
Thugh it may help my construction efforts if i did clean the place up a bit.

Actually theres alot of macross resin i havent done yet. All of the yellow sub stuff, the zentradi stuff and the rest of the Club M and B club stuff.
-
Youll find that these are the absolute best resin kits out there. No fit issues and some of the best casting i have ever seen.
-
Just out of curiosity; What colors did you use for the Defender..? is spot on for a Macross mecha...
Base coated in tamiya flat black, over shadowed with Khaki drab and then highlighted with straight Khaki. Then weathered from there.
-
Those are earth tone pigments and pastels applied with alcohol. They only look white since the base color of the destroid is darker than they are.
-
Its done. Weathering turned out nicely. I figured this would be more of a security unit/escort for the monster so i kept chipping down and enhanced weather streaking. More like it would be more in the rear guarding assets while the tomahawks and battroids were at the very front lines getting really roughed up.
I also took some pics of it with the rest of the Moscato destroid line.
-
Thats sweet looking. Is it a WF entry?
-
Standard tamiya "Flat Blue" overshaded with some very slightly lightened blue. Then it was postshaded with nato black given a wash of black and lightly drybrushed with light blue.
What's lying on your workbench? MKII

Good work. Another destroid in the ranks. Did noone get the defender or the Phalanx though.
Yes the crack in the skull was inspired, By the same source as the one in macross and the one used by the US navy. The pirate Jolly Rodger. In the Ma.K. world the SAFS Fireball is used by mercenary forces to raid on commonwealth forces and ships.
