  1. Any on knows what is the meaning of D.D. squad name? I think I heard the name was Shverma on the OVA,  don't tell it means Skull in russian...

Well. I have the ANBU/ONE version......they have it spelt as Schwalbe-One (Two, etc.).

I ran Schwalbe through Babelfish......using a German to English translator (b/c there wasn't a Russian term for Schwalbe).

    Schwalbe = Swallow (in German)

:o So is it german? I thought it was russian...

the Swallow Squad? that is not very intimidating

  2. :( Actually the toy will be affected by any enviroment in different ways, the only way to keep them in a 100% good condition would be to put it into a sealed vaccum case, away from sun light with climate control...
  3. So bandai is reissuing this sucka? Is this a fact or just someone's wet little dream? :p:D:lol:

 Wet because we drool about it??

Yeah it is a dream, but I hope this is put soon in the toy production schedule of Yamato

  4. I would buy a big SDF-1 Transforming Macross if they sell anywhere between 100-180 dollars.

Wouldn't it be cool to have a 1/48 or 1/60 with battery power movement and actual canon firing from its main gun! Imagine it walking on the street with people running away and the Macross making pin point deadalus attacks to the cars

  5. Did you mean the Anti-UN cross?

This isn't it, but it's close. You just have to make the left and right arrows straight (like a cross)

EDIT: Nevermind, I just remembered the logo was white. I colored it Red myself. I forgot.

:o Sure it does look like a religious symbol!

I was checking the Macross Zero Episode 2 and it does look like a gothic cross

Any on knows what is the meaning of D.D. squad name? I think I heard the name was Shverma on the OVA, don't tell it means Skull in russian...

  6. Toy companies inject this thing into the boxes of new toys that when you smell it makes you an addict and you start buying and buying...

That is the real reason why some keep them in the box, to smell it not because of the collectors value, it is all in the smell

  7. Opus Posted on Apr 8 2004, 10:02 PM

It's just a white trapezoid. Similar to what the Destroid Spartan has in red on its missile covers

Hey, OPUS, look again! From that famous DYRL? shot, it doesn't look just like a simple trapezoid, there's a line coming down from the middle of that shape. It's kinda confusing coz what yer saying actually makes sense. It does make one wonder though!

It's just a lighting effect. I guess they're shiny. Look at the Yamato pics.

 Or it could have been a joke or an error of the drawing department...

  8. Only if it's in 1/48.

    None of this 1/60 crap.

    :)

    Wow a 1/60 or a 1/48 SDF-1 Macross

THAT WOULD BE HUGE!!! probably we can store it in the garage instead of the the car

Just joking, they should make a Movie version of the Macross!

  9. The only thing that bothers me of Macross Zero is the VF-0, it has 3 differents variants an also accessories (the armored variant), is it still supposed to be a prototype? or is already an standard mass produced model? I wonder how many Zeros were created and if they were all rebuilded as a VF-1 after the test period ended.
  10. As an instrumental that music that play when Millia and Max have there fight on the DYRL Movie I think it was an extended version of commercial theme of the macross serie, that is a 100% Macross identifier :D

  11. Wasn't it the squadron insignia of Ivanoff? I think is just another interpretation of the classic Jolly Roger with sables instead of bones.

I wouldn't be surprised Roy picked the Jolly Roger based on Ivanoff's insignia as I have seen a fan sub of Macross Zero Episode 2 and he calls him Instructor Ivanoff

I know it is not this the actual insignia but is similar...

  12. imagine the 1/60s even with smaller hands do u think it can hold gunpod?

somehow the gbp armguard seem blocking to hold gun.

i duno maybe or somehow normal hand holding side by side or twisting armguard to bottom etc.

jus pray its faster release awwman <_<

I hope they come up with BIG TV-style hands with the DYRL mold.

yeah tat what i thinking too, inside anime when it's arm with gbp its transform out bigger hand

Actually I think if they did one of those big round hands with a hole to put the gun pod I think it would be cool :D

Didn't Hikaru lauched with the Armored VF-1J on the serie with a gun pod in his hand?

I am already saving for my armor pack to upgrade my Super VF-1J

Now they have to come with a GBP armor for the VF-11 and for the future VF-0

  13. those hands are made for 1/48...look at them! they're huge!! :D

 Aren't those hands TV typed? big and round, I wouldn't care if it came with an extra hand to be able to put the gun pod

  14. Any one remembers that mission on the PS One game of Do you remember love that all the Valks of Skull Squad are deploy into the Zentrandi ship in full armor, it was so cool, each armor was also painted according to the colours of each Valk. :D

I would love to buy 4 of the armor sets one for each Skull member and custom paint them according to Valk colour

  15. :D Lets admit it, we like the details of the toys and to transform them.

I am living right now on USA and I have bought my Valks here and then left them in my parents house when I travel over there on vacations, and first thing I do when I get there is to get the boxes out of the closet, take the toy out of the box and put them on the desk for display.

And why not I hope they remain on good conditions for my future not yet born kids... :D

  16. ;) I have made a lot of searching for the songs on the internet over the last 2 years and I think I have most of them, any one has the song Kimi ni todoke? (the one Mylene sings in Varuta Planet when they are escaping), in that same version she sing in that episode, I have one that it sounds a lot more fancy and I really don't like it. I was planning to rip it from my Macross 7 DVD set but it has a lot of background sound.

By the way I did rip the full acoustic version of Totsugeki Love Heart from the DVD with all that his 1,2,3,4 count of the beginning (I am listening to it in my MP3 Player) and the "live" version of Holy Lonely Night (the one that starts with Bassara shouting "AHHH!" ) If any one wants them contact me.
