1J looks clean man. I may have to give up my search for the 30th Anniversary and settle for that model. I think I can live without the option parts

26 days since I first started collecting. I have vf-1s Hikaru 30th Anniversary and vf-1s Max arriving this Friday and that should be it.....unless I find that vf-1j 30th Anniversary, THEN that should be it! A few more boxes and I'll be able to build my fort!

I wouldn't worry about dust. just keep a can of air around and give them a spray once a month or so. why is he charging you $100 when it retails for $65?

I've been fortunate with my shopping in the past 3 weeks in getting my valks from overseas with very little markup. From what I've been noticing I don't think the stocks are dwindling as fast as it appears but online retailers have been pulling them, marking them out of stock and selling them on ebay at a higher premium. This is creating a false sense of demand and driving up the prices on ebay

I'm relatively new to this hobby and was initially overwhelmed by how expansive the Yamato VF-1 line is. To narrow it down I chose DYRL and started collecting the VF-1S skulls which included Roy, Hikaru and Max. Then expanded within the DYRL universe and started looking for the VF-1A skulls and the armored VF-1J.

I'd like to see stronger plastic in the shoulder and backpack hinges. even though they improved in v2 I still don't have confidence in them. I'd also like to see metal used for the feet, vent covers, head lasers and backpack thrusters?

I caved in and ordered a VF-1S Max from Amazon.jp using Fromjapan.jp. Thanks for the tip VF-Zer0S! Cost me $177 before fees and shipping. Somehow I managed to buy 6 Valkyries in 20 days.... my bank account is in much needed recovery.

I've been on a mission to complete my DYRL Skulls and Max has been my white unicorn. I totally agree with you on it being too much work!! I already have Roy and Hikaru and thanks to Mr. VF-Zer0S I've been able to find Max but I don't know if I can convince myself to pay $220 for it, especially since I picked up Roy and Hikaru at $130 shipped each. Getting another VF-1S and repainting it seems to be an easier option. Did you repaint Roy or Hikaru? I'm curious to know which color would the blue cover better. Also which blue did you use and is the Skull on the blast shield a sticker or paint? Thanks guys!

this is probably a dumb question to aak but are the hands interchangeable between all the 1/60 vf-1 releases like standard, movie and tv versions? normal, cartoon hands etc. thanks guys

so I've been on a quest to find a vf-0s and Bandai's vf-25f and discovering that these are impossible to find and come with a high price tag. Did they have low production or something?
