I found a 1/48 low vis on Mandarake for about $240 shipped. I have been looking to get one again after selling mine back when the low vis were in reselling for like $400-$500. Came in perfect condition, just some shelf wear on the box. Happy to have my first 1/48 call back in my collection.
thats has to be the best pilot figure for the 1/48 line. was my first valk too. too bad they didnt do it for the 1/60...sigh

Oh no, I knew it was going to happen too. I thought I'd play with the Roy stand and the jet took a tumble and snapped clean in two, lost a leg. Photos one day, but it's a bad one. Just had to lament.
Ouch, would you care to share which part was broken? Some members here are pretty eloquent in 3D softwares and could prolly take a paid custom job from you

GARRAGAG VAR syndrome GAAGGGARG, more scissors moves....never using gerwalk or battroid...even...once
exactly how I felt when they're having their dogfight or scissors or whatever-i-just-dont-care-anymore. All I saw was these purple and blue lines, criss-crossing in the sky, which is lame and lazy at best, on part of the animators.
Back on topic, cant wait to see how much it retails...props should be given to the mecha designer for the elaborate transformation sequence, at least its new, unlike the 31 which is the derivative of the 25/30 (Kawamori & Tenjin? or just Kawamori since Tenjin normally plays the role as the mechanical illustrator...)

Stopped at a hotel for the night on our way to Berlin and got a chance to play around with the Spitfire model. Such a lovely little plane! Had to give one of the landing gear a slight bend so it would deploy straight and stowe flush which was easy enough.. looks fab now! The tail wheel falls out when you pick it up so I'll have to add a drop of glue to fix that but no big deal of course.. my dad liked it so much that hes going to buy one on the return trip back to uk. He remembers Spitfires flying over his house when he was young as they lived minutes away from an RAF base. Here are some pics!
that looks nice. can the cokpit open/close? tried stuffing a 1/48 yamato pilot in there for the fun of it? haha..

All this talk abt forearms guns, and in episode 8 it pops up...a DX gimmick i really would like to see!
AND WHAT IF, it also pop's up WHILE in fighter mode??

welcome back Kurt! I remember Kurt & Jung made some of the most breathtaking customs during the 1/48 reign. Cant wait to see more! Hopefully your passion does not die out due to old age

Hopefully the 31A will be a matte finish release, like the YF30...not really digging the shiny plastic finish.

Selling a used 1/60 v2 VF-1A Hikaru with Super Packs by Yamato.
In general the valk is in great condition, transformed 3 times max and was kept in fighter mode in display case. The rainbow canopy is perfect. No yellowing on the valk as it is displayed in Ikea Detolf shelf away from sunlight. Stickers sheets and instruction manuals are present. Only the black skulls stickers were applied on the fast packs.
Both shoulders hinges have line cracks near the metal pins, which is common for this release, but can be fixed with 3D printed shapeway parts HERE.

Selling a used 1/60 VF-11B with Super Pack by Yamato for $OLD.
Toy and box is complete and in great condition. Stickers and instructions sheets unused. There are stress marks on the hinges of the small cover-flaps between the thights (circled in red - see pictures). These flaps are designed as cosmetics/covers and does not affect the transformation. No yellowing. Item was displayed in a case away from sunlight and comes from a pet-and-smoke-free home.
