Thanks guys! BTW, the head is a bitch to pull off. Also, my copy's wings sag a bit in gerwalk mode. Really don't want to use super glue to tighten it up. Any other suggestions?

I find HLJ's EMS prices to be cheaper than most others tend to charge. They only charged me ¥2980 when most places tend to charge ¥4000+ yen for EMS for valk shipping.

Thanks MJ! It was still available on Amiami 2 days ago but I remembered their jacked up EMS rates so I didn't order. I think I may go with HLJ. BTW, I was talking about the VF-0A. Sorry I forgot to mention in my last post.

So who has the best price on this bird with EMS? I totally forgot to preorder but it doesn't seem to be a problem since most retailers have it available.

Well, I couldn't resist a good deal when I saw one. Ordered one at HLJ although I initially cancelled my NY order. The color has grown on me even though it is another YF-29.

It's up for order at Amiami as well. I just placed an order with Amiami and cancelled the preorder I had with HLJ (it's one of the things I really like about HLJ -- their painless cancellation)... they were taking too long to send me a payment request; besides, Amiami has a better price which I hope won't be cancelled out too much by higher shipping costs (chose SAL, but will be okay with Registered SAL).

With amiami's shipping rates I'd bet it would still be around HLJ's with EMS.

Thanks guys! The parts seem darker than the others but I really haven't been able to compare it yet. So far the triangles "feel" fine although I've only transformed it once to its three modes. The white on it seems to be a darker shade than the Alto but again I haven't had time to bust out my other 171's to compare. Joints are tight as hell BTW.

Damnit. Just after I combined my order with the VF-171 and SRC Grendizer did I notice that the VF-19 was moved up to the 20th instead of the 30th. Now I'll have to wait for the other 2 items to be in stock before mine gets shipped.

Fighter mode - anyone managed to get all the tabs around the lower leg to line up and latch? There are wing-to-leg, leg-to-backpack, leg-to-arms, and body-to-leg tabs. In my unit I found it impossible to fit all the tabs, and best to leave the backpack out of the tab puzzle if I want to keep the gun straight.

Make sure the legs are retracted all the way in. I had the same problem with tabs not lining up at first and it's kind of tough to judge if it won't go any further with everything being so tight.

I'd say all white parts that are painted blue are prone to getting scratched easily but I noticed that after swinging the arms from fighter to gerwalk, the shoulders rubbed the legs. I think I'll be popping off the legs off the main body first before swinging the arms forward from now on.

Be careful when transforming him as the paint on the legs seem to scratch really easy.
