  1. Truly sorry for my late PM-back. Also, owe all of you guys an instruction. I am recently fully occupied by an urgent project. I will be back with several complete products late this month.
  2. Many thanks for your suggestions. Regarding the hands, EXO actually do an awesome work and you may refer to his custom thread, should be also in this subforum. For the 2 seater, I am doing it now for 1/48, will release it soon. BTW, BP8 is complete. Now waiting for the testing piece
  3. Great to hear the update. Actually my work on the 1/48 line is also 90% complete. Think it is good for MWFers have more options. Again, super nice work, man! Yeap, THOR is correct. Actually once you got the design ready in one proportion, scaling it to other proportion is just half a minute work. Just go to Tools --> Features --> scale --> key in the proportion number.
  4. Many thanks for your support. However, got too busy in my routine work. I will try to have them ready late this month.
  5. Many thanks for your support. However, got too busy in my routine work. I will try to have them ready late this month.
  6. The 1/48 BP8 piece will be available in a couple of days.
  7. Thanks for your suggestion. The spike on my vf-0 is super tight, I cannot take it out so cannot CAD it. The vf-0 antennas (three sets in a btach), in both vf-0s white and vf-0a grey, is available at Shapeways. Here is the link and picture. http://www.shapeways.com/model/483642/macross_vf_0s_0a_antenna.html
  8. Thanks for your suggestion! I have ordered two sets and now it is in production! But based on my experience of my VF-1E project, I am highly confident that it will be sufficiently good! I will keep you guys updated. IS
  9. To mod, I just realize this design belongs to NB4M. Big sorry to him. I have deleted all my designs and kindly delete this post for me. Thanks very much. IS
  10. Dear All, I am thinking about using Shapeways to provide some small parts that our macross fans need for replacement. VF5SS has done a very nice work for the 1/60 ver2 shoulder. What I intend to do now include: 1) 1/48 BP8 piece, Update: BP8 is complete. Two units for sale. I am now printing one for testing and will show the results pretty soon. 2) 1/60 VF-0 shoulder hinge 3) 1/60 VF-0 leg hinge But I would like to have feedbacks from you guys on the necessity and what else parts can be included in the list. Thanks in advance. IS
  11. Woo, the 3-view figure of the vf-2ss is really a treasure to me!! Thank for sharing!!
  12. Hi Jason, , the VEFR-1 head is not a beautiful one. From the instrumental information shared by Sketchley, I know that it is suppose to be similar to VE-1. So I got an idea to do a modification based on my VF-1E head. I natually starts from 1/48 but this one I am considering 1/60 also. However, man, we all know, after my VF-1E and your VA-3, that it is not an easy work. So it would be great if you can take over the 1/60 line development. Many thanks for sharing the information. This is a super cool website containing so much great information. Also a big fan of your replacement shoulder, really an amazing work!
  13. Thanks and noted. Will PM you the progress! Thank you! I am trying to realize it! , and super thanks for your kind words in PM! I am trying to let this sub-forum as the top-active one in MFW.
  14. Hi Boss, Salute you for your super detailed explanations. It is indeed instrumental and will greatly facilitate the custom work I intend to carry out. Cheers, IS
  15. Many thanks, now work can be officially started
  16. Thanks a lot! Is there any link to show what the head looks like?
  17. Hi Boss, Yes, actually the attachment brackets for the bottom one is quite easy. The most challenging one is only the front bracket of the top one. Got an idea but still not fully decide. Thanks for your concern and support! IS
  18. I got a question on the VEFR-1 valk. It seems it has no head, or the radar dome is its head, like picture shown below. Am I right? If wrong, corrections are appreciated! Cheers, IS
  19. I recently got more communications with some local 3D printing agents (for both sale and rental). They told me that Shapeways (or the companies they commit to do the work) uses super high-end 3D printing machine. I also saw the products using Markerbot's one or others under 10K, they are far worse than the Shapeways's product. The page on the difference between WSF and WSF polished is here: http://www.shapeways.com/blog/archives/829-Introducing-White-Strong-Flexible...-Polished-and-Smooth.html My simple conclusion is that: white strong flexible material is sufficiently good, smooth, and durable, but WSF polished one is providing you toy-level smooth surface.
  20. Thank you for your support and sorry for the delay. Got fully occupied by the routine work so the hobby thing is natually delayed. This head is 100% ready. I am not triming the Macross the 1st 1D head and will issue the head batch very soon (by latest the mid of March). Kindly PM me you are interested in the 1R head only or the whole. Cheers, IS
  21. Thank you for your constant support and kind words! Thank you for your support and noted. Will PM you the progress later on!
  22. I got PMs from some friends here saying that they are very interested in vf-11 booster in 1/60 scale. I also like the design very much, so just give it a try. Here is an initial update of this work. Booster itself is complete and the work left is the support frame CAD design. Hope I can finish it with the head batch. Sign..., got fully occupied recently by routine work, just can squeeze some time at weekends to continue the hobby, but I will try my best to make the heads in 1/48 and this booster in 1/60 ready in a couple weeks. Doing it just for fun. If you guys are interested, kindly shoot me a PM to let me know the popularity. Thanks for all support and suggestions! Cheers, IS
