Your gonna have fun in your own place!
Fun and freedom is the good part, renovation and furnishing is the bad part...

renewal armoured ozma looks just awesome, guess i'll mess around with my "crumble monkey" version tonight^^

Max is the best captain :3
i'd say he's the sleekest captain (chick & milf magnet).

Is that the Hi metal VF-19S back there with landig gears out?
yes & no, lol.
the landing gears are actually attached to the stand platform, and the hi-metal excalibur just sits on it...

superb pair of yamato s-series mac7 valks. i have to settle with my bandai mac7 valks.

Had to dismantle my V.1 DX VF-25S to fix the shoulder hinges after the left one broke when i transformed it from battroid to fighter mode recently.
Photos not to clear cos i just snapped it with my phone. I used UHU glue which was slow drying but once it hardened, it was really durable. Hopefully this repair will last.

Okay!!!?? What is that supposed to mean, since I don't understand Japanese?
UTSUKUSHII means beautiful, Max said this to Milia after he defeated her in a Meltrandi battleship in DYRL.

Some pics for sharing! More thoughts on it later...
imho, i think kinryu deserves some credit in the vf-17s too.
and the blast effect looks awesome.

those who are excited with this valk, cheers & hip-hip-hooray~!
those who aren't in favour of it, just chill, relax & support the excitement.

my chronology of bandai chunkies:

Gave my nephew a 1/55 VF-1S... this was almost 10 yrs ago... brand new out of the box. He still has it.
nice, that'll deculture him and build his muscles, lol^^
-
mine of course will be bandai's reincarnation of the classic, improved yet nostalgic.^^
-
Now that is a true Macross lover! Not every married man could do what you would have done lol
lol, well i did include "might", so it'll probably just lead to a big fight or cold war, that's all, hehe...
-
And even though Yamato has superior engineering over a Takatoku and Bandai, they will forever be a part of my great childhood memories.
couldn't agree more with you, agent-ghq. chunkies are an irreplaceable part of our childhood that some couldn't apprehend. transformers got me into transforming robots, but "kaboom" came macross with TRIPLE-transforming robots from jet fighters when we were already exposed to real-world jet fighters. i'd say i've been so decultured by macross for about 25 years that i might leave my spouse if she'd threaten to deprive me of this part of my childhood, hehe.

Thought we already have a thread like this since 2005 with bunches of old school 1/55 scale pictures?
that thread is a totally awesome tribute to the chunky monkeys, i think we should just revive that thread instead.
