It happened about a month ago, officially there not out of business but "re-organizing" but they did fire all their employees. It seems the president will still continue to make kits but they will be garage kits and even more expensive. I guess it's just the economy, these toys take a massive amount of engineering and the whole company was just basically a handful of guys so with the rescission and the high costs they couldn't sustain the business. These were very specialized toys and never meant for the general fan so it was bound to end sooner or later.

That's a shame. Times are tough on everyone right now. Except our bankers execs. They had to take a 90 percent pay cut cause they blew all the bail out money. Now they're only making 1/2 million a year. And that's after a 90 percent pay cut.

Well, lego's had (I think) 3 versions of that ship.. the first wasn't great, but the later UCS one was nice. Can't remember much of the most recent one, but it was better than the first.

The original Episode I toy though.. that was a rarity. Not in terms of hard to find, but rare that they produced something so accurate, and even in a good scale with the figures. Most of the time, ships get mangled to fit the figures (looking at you, original X-wing ).

The old N-1 fits in that tiny category of vehicles where it actually makes sense to produce it in the correct scale for the figures (others being things like the A-wing and Snowspeeder). It's a BIG ship.. but it gets surprisingly compact when you remove the engines and tail section.

Btw, if you're hoping to get the giant Lego Falcon, better step on it. Apparently it's now out of production, and they're emptying their remaining stock.

edward james olmos has talked about another movie set on earth with the full cast,, so who knows. If it's gonna be like The Plan, I'd rather they didn't.

Getting some insight into the Brother Cavils was interesting and all but it was just kinda meh.

Yea. I see where Jane was trying to go when she wrote it, but I just don't think they reached that plateau. I am not sure what they should have done. But it was not really worthy of the BSG namesake.

Airport card randomly shuts off. Quicktime crashes constantly. DVD player won't launch half the time. 10.6 is so full of bugs it's absurd.

Are you referring to the Lego Naboo or the Hasbro Naboo Fighter. Both are pretty sweet.

I actually think I am done with sequels. That's the only thing being green lit right now. Sequels, and remakes.

Playstation 3 i got due to the price drop and the fact that Final Fantasy XIII comes out in Japan before it does in the US.
