    Hello folks! How is everybody? :D

     I haven't posted here in years but I wanted to tonight because I found something I knew some of you would be interested in seeing. First of all, this is not me - just a fella I have watched since he started making Mospeada/Macross models into STLS.

    This guy has modeled in 3D the entire kit, and is building it slowly. He has several videos of his progress, and is almost finished. This is the same person who did the "Cy-Kill" model and sold it on ebay. All his files are on thingiverse if you're interested. 

     

    If this is the wrong category, I apologize and hope a mod will just move it to the proper place  instead of deleting it. This guy deserves to be seen for the work he has put into these models. Thanks y'all! :D

    I am ready to kill paypal and this damn seller.

    The seller cannot claim paypal payment because her grandson didn't add the "new" email to the account, so I had to cancel payment. She continually tells me over the course of last week to send payment to a different email address. I tried to explain I will NOT send payment without the auction # attached to it, that she must correct the problem. So friday morning she tells me her address is in paypal now. I send payment. UNCLAIMED AGAIN! So this is $200 floating in my account that paypal has put a hold on, so for 1.5 weeks I can't access this money in my own bank account. I basically told her to cancel the auction, I'm done. Thankfully she agreed and was apologetic. She WAS polite at least.

    Okay this morning I get this:

    Dear Xxxxx xxxxxx,

    As a security measure, we regularly screen PayPal activity. Recently, we

    noticed a problem with your account.

    We have reason to believe that your account blah blah...

    -------

    So because I canceled payment two times in one week, they have locked me out of my account! So I signed in as far as I could and jumped through a LOT of hoops, then they ask for a phone number to verify I am who I am. I enter my cell #, and they refuse to call a cell citing it must be a land line to MY address. Guess what? I don't HAVE a land line. So! I have to wait 6 weeks for a LETTER IN THE MAIL to "proceed" jumping through who knows how many more hoops! I wonder if paypal will accrue interest on my two hundred dollars SITTING in that account for 6 #!@#ing weeks!

    All this because the seller could NOT figure out how to log into paypal, add an email address and make it the primary.

    !@#@#$%^&*!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What's next??

    The Seller's Always got an Excuse for delays

    I always wait a complete week before I send the "When did you mail it out?" email. Answer varies. You can get the truth. More often or not you get a lie. They said they mailed it two days ago. Delivery time is typically 4 days. If the Seller is telling the truth you'll get the item the next day. If they lie you get the item 4 days after you sent that email.

    You said it. That is extremely irritating. It's the lying that makes me aggravated. If they were at least honest and say "hey I'm tired after work, I'll ship it this weekend" then I would completely understand. But the lying? That pisses me off to no end.

    I haven't bought off Ebay in months but just had to get some out.

    Low buy it now price say $20 and Shipping price of $80

    It doesn't cost $80 to ship that you ass. I know what you're up to. You don't want to pay ebay any fees.

    I'll place the item up for bid at Retail Price

    Come on moron it is an auction. You place something with a low starting bid or a fair middle price. If I want to pay retail I'll buy at retail. Greedy ass holes don't you wonder why no one bid on your crap week after week.

    Damn you son of a bitch! Make a normal title for your auction. Don't give me none of that LOOK crap!

    What do I find inside some totally unrelated item. Don't waste my time. This can apply to any item. I hate this practice.

    YOUR NOT A F*CKING BUSINESS IF YOUR ON EBAY

    Stop thinking you are. A business have a physical location. An Online Business has its own site. When you sale on ebay you a smuck like the rest of us.

    So the item didn't for what you thought it was too bad now try gain your losses by including it with the handling or simply taking forever to ship an item. "Let's see I used a gallon of gas, took a hour off of work and eat a corn dog. I'll add that to shipping.

    Man that felt good.

    I really wish ebay allowed broader search parameters.

    Here are my gripes:

    My loss is your gain. (yeah right) You are bidding on... (no I'm not!) NO REFUNDS!!!! (wanna bet?)

    Here we have the little figurine for a Gakken 1/35 alpha on auction. Only $29!!! Or how about the kickstand for an old gakken cyclone? Only $31!!!

    And the auctions where the seller has obviously disassembled an old toy and parted it out for insane amounts of money.

    I won one auction once that didn't go for what the guy expected (set a reserve, genius) then paid immediately after the auction closed. He emailed me apologizing that his payment address 'changed' so he canceled the payment then sent an invoice for a much higher shipping rate in the name of "insurance." You don't insure $13 with $8. I was livid. I paid anyway because it was still very cheap but I left some nasty negative feedback. This was right after ebay changed their policy on negative retaliation from sellers, he didn't realize that I don't think. The guy emailed me back and was extremely angry. Oh well.
