  1. Man I cannot wait for this. My VF-1 broke a few months after it came out and I never really commited to any of the reissued shoulder joints but I'll gladly buy these. It definately would be nice if they were in different colors but the fact that I can finally take my Valk out of fighter mode makes me giddy.

  2. This is a question in general for any V2 valks, but i noticed a crack on one of the hinges that hold the chest and fuselage together and a slight stress mark on the other hinge. I've glued them but has anyone else had that problem? I guess i'm just applying too much force since its kinda difficult to pull the fuselage out and in.

Hm well the hinges are the ones that hold the metal piece where the fuselage slides on. Basically the ones next to the head on the left and right side. I'm not that worried about it completely breaking since the plastic seems fairly thick. Maybe i'm just doing something wrong or something. Well its ok now, and its not stopping me from transforming or getting more VFs, but its just something I wanted to get out there.

  5. I also love how you can literally customize these birds however which way you or I want. Like for instance, if i really wanted to, i could put a strike pack on a 1D. The only thing I don't like is how freaken difficult it is to pull out landing gear. I always have to use my tweezers under the wheel to help pull it out.

  6. I guess people tend to feel that way because mainly on how yamato basically has hit a nice balance between looks and playability. Honestly though, compare how long it took yamato vs bandai. Other than the chunky Valkyries, they haven't ventured much in terms of macross. People are always gonna be disappointed, but I say, give bandai some more time and their toys will get alot better. Bandai does gundam mainly anyway.

  7. Honestly i'd like to know how some people do it, so i can just end up doing it the way i deem is right in my mind. I know there are grooves on the hardpoints, and then a gap so that you snap it in and then twist, but when you put one missile cluster on, it doesn't give enough clearance to put another, unless you just gradually jiggle it in. When you take the missiles off, it doesn't give enough room to reach the gap, but when i twist as far as possible to the fuselage it seems to pop off rather easy. Any ideas on how to clear my doubts, cause everytime i stare my plane down the missiles come to mind. Thanks in advance

  8. By the way, whats the best way of removing and adding missiles without damaging the hard point? I put them on by wiggling them so they just ease into the grooves, and to pull em off i get them as close to the fuselage as possible and they just pop off. I'm more curious about getting them on since i'm not sure if i'll wear out the plastic that way.

  9. My nose cone doesn't come loose per say, but after i'm done transforming and pose the legs out a bit, the cover doesn't exactly stay completely closed. Its not a big deal since the swing bar will keep it closed and such.

  10. Fob, did your shoulder joints crack? Regardless, when I handle my 1A, to prevent the inevitable, I usually hold the entire shoulder joint so the plastic doesn't bend around too much, reducing the stress on the plastic. You can also try loosening the shoulders, but you'll have to take off the shoulder pads first.
