The only reason why I answered that post was that he mentioned that it was probably easier to get the VF-31's compared to the VF-25's. Which I answered it's not and probably he just got lucky and some aren't. I really don't see any difference because I also had a hard time getting Ozma the first time it was re-released. And members mentioning left and right they got one from each store. Same thing with the YF-30. Some of the valks I have, I got it from NY after they mark up the price. Some from Mandarake and Jungle. The only ordered I feel I got lucky with one is the Draken because I PO'ed it at AmiAmi. And that's the first time my only order went thru. So yeah, I've experienced the cart-jacking, the page errors and whatnot durin PO nights. But I'm still right here getting pumped up for new releases.

IMHO, I do believe that the 31's are easier to find then the 25's.  Now the initial preorder window is still madness, but I noticed that the orders from all major sites no longer disappear in 1 minute, they actually take anywhere from 5-15 minutes to fully disappear.  Along with the fact that the preorders seem to randomly reopen closer to release for whatever reason.

The SV-262 is still a conundrum to me, as that preorder was open on CDJapan up until a few days ago with a limit of 3 per order.

My 31J copies I did not get during the normal preorder window, as I failed on all the normal sites.  My 1st copy I got from Loopaza by paying the shipping premium as I really wanted a copy, but I had to take the risk of trying a new shop that could have turned out to be a scam.  My 2nd copy I have to thank F360, as I find him to be MW's preorder MVP.  I just happened to check the MW forums at 6am one day, and happened to see one of his notification posts about the 31J preorder opening back up and placed the order on my phone immediately.  I haven't jumped out of bed that fast since 2003 at basic training.

The 31F copies I attribute to sheer luck and persistence.  My amiami order I had to submit about 5-7 times, as it would keep failing.  My cdjapan order I was getting the same error where the item was sold out, but the preorder page still showed copies available.  I think I went to checkout about 20+ time until it finally went through when there were 6 copies remaining.

So far the Delta series valks I do find easier to attain at reasonable prices either during preorder or leading to release.

I own 10 frontier series valks, and 4 of them I was able to secure preorders for, and the remaining 6 I have had to pay aftermarket premiums for.

Shoot I'm still looking for a VF-25G under $400, and would gladly trade one of my 31's for.

I can truly understand the frustration of not being able to secure a preorder, as I was in the same boat for many of the Frontier Valks, and for the 31J.

To those that have not secured a preorder yet don't lose hope, and if you really want something you'll find a way to make it happen.

G/L to everyone on the NY preorder tonight.

  2. I can confirm that Loopaza is legit, my 31J finally came in today, but it took 3 weeks.  Doesn't help that they raised shipping prices either.

But is it just me, or does it seem easier to acquire the DX 31 valks when comparing to the 25 series.

So far I have been able to get doubles of all the 31's, and Keith's SV 262 was open for preorder for what seemed like an eternity on cdjapan.

I have a feeling that most people that missed out on the 31F preorder should be able to snag on NY, as the 31F preorder seemed to stay open past the normal 1 minute preorder when compared to the 25 series.  I got my 2nd 31F 15 minutes after the preorder window opened up.  Maybe Bandai is finally increasing production, or people are less interested in the 31's since Delta wasn't stellar.

got this video from robot-japan forums member"zrli5027"

looks like they changed all the trademark stuff, and even selling it in 2 separate boxes with a different robot in each.   you can swap the parts to form Voltron?..   lol

    Video: www.bilibili.com/video/av7856706/

    still looks good.

The 2 separate robots thing has be smh and lmao, probably only way to avoid bandai.

The other robot will be used for target practice lol.

But Got Dem, why does the MoSho have to look so good.  Please let us know when and where you find this thing for sale.  This is a must buy.

Oooff. $97.80 for shipping for a total of $287.79. :o

Yeah that does suck.  I only paid $240 for my 31J.

Lucky this time in that I was able to snag 1 from amiami, and 1 from cdjapan.

Only want to deal with loopaza as a last resort.  I'd say keep checking NY.

what is with their shipping? $97 usd for shipping isnt even realistic

Whoa it's gone up since the 31J.

    I only paid $60.

Maybe hold out for Nippon Yasan's preorder, as I'm sure people will be hesitant if shipping on loopaza is almost $100.  Was wondering why it took them so long to list their 31F preorder, but that explains it.

  6. Got my KO seven sword today.

Impressed at the build quality and the tampo, but my box came opened, and the legs are a little loose and not like the video.

Makes me wonder if I got a return or something.

But for half the price of the original, not too bad of a display piece.

I'll post pics of my box when I get a chance, but when compared to official metal builds, something just seems a little lacking.

  7. ^Really excited for the F91 preorder, but thinking I may bite order with a NA retailer this time.

The high yen is making the NA retailers a better deal. If I spent $10 more with an NA retailer for MP primal I could have had the diecast mace, and I had ordered from amiami with the cheapest shipping.

Hoping the yen goes back down somehow.

Someone destabilize the Japanese financial market for us toy collectors/importers please lol.

  8. Anyone seen Drifters today? It was a ton of fun. A lot like Hellsing back in the day.

Read the manga back in the day, but the releases are way too slow.

Been waiting the past few years to get an anime release. What is going to suck is that we will be in for a Very long wait for an S2 once S1 is over.

Drifters and Gundam IBO S2 are my must watch for winter 2016. I'll give a few other shows a shot, but nothing else really stands out.

  9. Odd that HLJ was open for at least 15-20mins. Oh well, good night all. Hope eveyone got one who wanted one.

Safer then the 1.5 hours it was open for the 31J.

Have a bit more confidence that my order won't be canceled this time around.

  10. ^ Get Sphinx!

There you go done deal, now go get him, do it now.

Sphinx is a good figure, the transformation can get a little finicky when getting him back into alt mode.

I normally buy my TF's for their robot modes, and Sphinx is great in his robot mode, but MMC did a really good job on his alt mode, so I keep him in alt mode because his F1 presence/look is perfect. I doubt even Takara could pull off a better mirage.

  11. Does anyone know when the US release date is for the Metal Build Exia & Exia Repair III re-issue is? BBTS has August, but I ordered from another store and they don't have a date.

I checked Bluefin's site but it wasn't listed.

Just trying to figure out the toy budge for the month or two.

    -b.

Normally they are about 1-2 weeks after Japan's release, there is no solid date, as it's pretty much whenever their shipment gets to them.

And toy budget, just throw that out the window, you know you want to.

Also for those that missed the Metal Build Astray Blue Frame, it's up for preorder on Amazon US. Same price as all the other etailers.
