Wow, I would be in tears getting rid of a collection like this. Can anyone fill me in on why Hikaru rather than Roy is pictured on the Fokker 1S box?
Rumor is that TT balked at the idea of using Roy when they found out he dies in the middle of the show. Possibly they thought kids wouldn't buy a toy that pictured a dead character.

Here is my MAcross LD Collection
Very impressive! You have almost everything I know of except maybe that Macross LD game and the second Memorial box set (but of course you have all the individual disks from that set).
What other vintage stuff do you collect? Posters, LP's, cards?

That would be Shaak Ti, whom Ahsoka is at least "inspired by". (being the first and so far AFAIK only Togruta seen on-screen)
Actually there was a padawan youngling seen in episode II who is a Togruta also.

Has anyone seen the deleted scenes from Episode 3? Grevious kills a Jedi that looks exactly like a grown up Ahsoka in the hold of his ship in the opening sequence.
When the Clone Wars cartoon aired, it was intended to be a canon lead-in into Episode III. At the end of the cartoon, Shaak Ti is captured by Grievous when he kidnaps Palpatine on Coruscant. This leads into the beginning of the film and her character's fate was to be resolved in the film but was cut.

I would love to see them kill off Asoka. While the character has grown on me, there is an important aspect to Anakin's character development that still needs to be addressed before the series ends; and that is his transformation into a Jedi-hating Sith lord. Its time we start seeing him violating the rules, using his anger, and giving in to the dark side. Since Asoka was not in Ep. III, this is the perfect opportunity to do this.
The reason I think they may do it this season is that we see her vision of her own death and we see Cad Bane possibly using her light saber. At the very least, have her destroyed physically or mentally so that she cannot continue in the Jedi order, enough to push Anakin over the edge, but not scare the kids watching the show

How about Macross in the weirdest Youtube video?

This guy being interviewed in his appartment has a 1/55 Valk behind him on a shelf.

I'm with you there... I'm just wondering how they would approach it. Scale is so inconsistent in the animation anyway. I'd be down with an invid that was as tall as the 1/100 regult... but then again I sold all my Alphas... so it'll be an invid by itself. I guess I'll get a Matchbox one to go with the 1/35 clunker that i still prefer over the newer Legioss toys.
I think the CM's are more in scale with the Shock Trooper toy than the Gakken 1/35 toys:

I'd be interested in how they would handle it scalewise because there really isn't any scale that they can work with unless people really want to see a 3" vynil invid trooper to go with their masterpiece alpha. They'd probably have to go with the Gosu.
Or release the scouts in three packs and shock troopers in two packs.

I finally got to see this show for the first time, i bought the DVD boxset. Being a fan of the previous Stargate shows and movies, i was really looking forward to this. But after watching it, i'm very disapointed with this show, I'm finding it very boring and the drama just gets dragged on. I know they're trying to make the show more "mature" by adding as much sex and angst in it, but It just dosen't work for me. And none of the characters are likeable, if any of them died, i wouldn't care, though i desperatly want Eli to die, he is so annoying. There are many other shows which are "mature" which keep me interested, but i'm afraid SGU is not gonna be one of them. I regret buying it now.
Sorry to hear that. Based on what you said, it sounds like they sacrificed the story and central spirit of the previous Stargate shows for the drama and maturity (ala BSG). I can only speak for myself, but I was a loose fan of Stargate for the first 4 seasons and then the show really lost me. I tried watching Atlantis and made it throught he first half dozen episodes before it lost me again. But with Universe, the show has hooked me from the beginning. It does feel more mature, as you say, and I can connect with the characters so much better. I suppose the writers knew that they would lose some fans and gain new ones when they decided on the change. I'm sorry for the dissapointment in some of the odler fans, but alternately happy that Universe is my new favorite show.

Ah-ha, my memory has not completely gone away with old age. Follow the below link for some scans of the Axoid instruction that I had way back when I was running the Valkyrie Factory website (some ten plus years ago). Enjoy.
Hey! Do you still have all the archived pics from Valkyrie Factory? I had some pics up there that I lost and I would love to have them again

Okay, that should be all the pics except the VF1S 1/144.
Thanks for looking!

Shawn,
Today I started a new For Sale post and found that the forum is not set to allow users to consecutively add replies to any topic unless a) another member has already posted since or b) a specified amount of time has passed (maybe 10 minutes?). This makes it extremely cumbersome to post multiple items with pictures in a For Sale post. Luckily, Exo was kind enough to assist me, but it was very time-consuming and required a Moderator's access.
I can understand that this is set this way to prevent spamming, but is there a way to turn this off in the For Sale section?
Thanks.

My son has a Turbo Tank and I would agree that its a boring toy compared to the AT TE. It has lots of room like the AT TE, but its no where near as dynamic. It is also grossly out of scale for the figures, but thats something a child hardly notices. My son never plays with his and it sits on the shelf. He really likes his Jedi fighters, gunship, and AT TE a lot more.
