“And now… The conclusion.”

In the third and final part of this video series, we put our skills to the test and actually build the kit, and then move on to trying our hand at printing secret messages in alien language.  We conclude with some afterthoughts about collecting and the obsession with MISB (Mint In Sealed Box) items versus “fun”.

It is my pleasure to bring to MacrossWorld a random oddity from the depths of some Japanese guy’s basement.

Yes, it’s the legendary Macross Zentradi Stamp Kit, by Nichimo. I had never seen one in person, never saw a review or anything, struggled to find any data on it for decades, so I figured it deserved its own epic story, complete with a beginning, middle and end.

So, on a rainy day in the Asakusabashi district of Tokyo, three MW guys — Save, Bariaburu Faita and myself — sat down and made some history. Or at least recorded a video for your viewing pleasure.
