  1. ***EDIT PICTURES ADDED***

    ***EDIT PRICES REDUCED***

    ***EDIT MINMAY GUARD SOLD***

    ***EDIT TV KAKIZAKI SOLD***

After some long sleepless nights I have finally decided to get some rest by coming to terms with letting these go.

Considering the custom parts, the custom work and their rarity the prices are fair, firm and non-negotiable. I can rest assure you I will not lose any sleep if I get to keep these in my collection.

1/48 VF-1D Kurt Custom Pictures don’t do it justice. Simply gorgeous. Killing me to part with it.

$500.00 shipped – PayPal Gift payment (Continental U.S. Only)

    $525.00 shipped – PayPal Non-Gift Payment (Continental U.S. Only)

1/48 VF-1S Kurt Custom Moon Act Minmay Guard Awe-inspiring. You will not be disappointed.SOLD

$600.00 shipped – PayPal Gift payment (Continental U.S. Only)

    $630.00 shipped – PayPal Non-Gift Payment (Continental U.S. Only)

1/48 VF-1A TV Kakizaki – What can I say? The guy is just simply hard to find these days. SOLD

$400.00 shipped – PayPal Gift payment (Continental U.S. Only)

    $420.00 shipped – PayPal Non-Gift Payment (Continental U.S. Only)

With the exception of one of the small back fins missing on the VF-1D (planned on gluing it back, but the cleaning lady dusted it away before I could get to it) these are all in pristine adult owned and displayed condition. Nice and tight. They include all accessories (including side covers and extra hands), manuals, boxes and stickers.

I prefer to ship to U.S. only as I am able to insure and track these at minimal costs. All my shipments are packed by a professional mail service with proper packing materials to ensure safe delivery. Unfortunately I believe Canada's postal workers are on strike and not accepting U.S. mail.

If there are any international buyers please let me know. I’ve had four successful shipments to international addresses that do not offer tracking or insurance. Very risky, but they have made it to their destinations. I would prefer not to do that with these and ship to trackable addresses with insurance.

I’ve had many successful transactions on the board so I am on the SSL. I have had some interest in these through PM so if those guys are still interested they will get first dibs on these. All others will fall in line.

Thanks for looking and if you have questions just shoot me a PM.

  2. I've had a few PM's about the 1/48's. I made the decision to let them go while at work, but when I got home Tuesday evening I sat at my desk looking at the collection and found myself torn. I have a photo event to shoot this weekend and depending on how well it goes, I may be able to cover the cost of the new printer ($1500 + $300 for print media) or at least make enough so that I do not have to part with my beloved 1/48's. I will update this post on Sunday with what's for sale. If it turns out that I have to part with a few the prices will be fair but firm; I'd much rather save the dough and keep my Valks than give them away. Customs will be steep as they don't come cheap should I make them available. Here's hoping for the best

  3. ***EDIT PIC ADDED***

    VF-1D Is still available.

As much as I enjoy my Macross collection, I enjoy earning cash even more. I need to purchase a second printer for my photography hobby and have decided to part with some of my beloved 1/48's. Each one has resided in a glass display case with adult care and no play.

Most are fair game and I cam considering parting with my customs as well as the rare TV Kakizaki. I'll be posting prices and pics later this evening, if this is okay with the moderators.

If you are interested in anything feel free to send me a PM. Prices will include shipping to the continental U.S. with tracking and/or delivery confirmation. All others must pay exact shipping. Prefer to only ship to international addresses that can be tracked and insured. Paypal gift is preferred, otherwise 4% must be added to price to cover fees.

Until I get pics posted, several of the Valks can be viewed in my gallery

  4. I have a NIB *sealed* set of 1/48 Stealth Super & Strike Parts. I had planned on adding a second stealth to my collection but never got around to it. This set has just been sitting on a shelf in an air conditioned closet. I would post pics, but it's just the box sealed in plastic shring wrap. The cardboard box from HLJ was used to wrap a gift the past Christmas, but I always have the items I sell here professionally packaged.

$140 shipped SOLD to the continental U.S. with tracking and insurance. All others please contact me. International shipping is a bit of a headache, but I'm willing to ship to outside the U.S.; particularly countries I haven't had any issues with. Paypal gift no fees; otherwise please add 4%.

    ***EDIT*** Price Reduced SOLD

  5. Been a long time since I've posted anything here or on the forums for that matter. I lurk from time to time, but not enough to see all the mass Macross goodness that has come out. Photography and RC cars have been my addiction as of late. But I have got to get back to collecting...1/3000 SDF-1...REALLY???

Anywho, here some of my favorites. Love my 1/60 v2's, but I'm still a 1/48 junkie! Give me scale!!!

  6. Recently picked up a Nikon D7000, so far very nice and a big step up from the old D60 I was shooting with. Haven't played around with the video much.

These are two long night exposures from a couple of nights ago.

Congrats on the upgrade! D60 to D7000? I am certain you can appreciate the upgrades. I have friend that purchased the D300s in October and can't understand for the life of me why he would not return it for the D7000. It's a much nicer camera in my opinion.

  7. Speaking of decals, does anybody know of a MG Moon Act set for sale?

Good luck with that man. If there are any out there I imagine they are holding on to them. The Paris Act I had for sale was marked waaaaayyyy up. It was the only way I could see myself making me part with them. Boy am I glad that they didn't sell. :)

  8.

Hey, Corey. Would it be asking too much for you to take some pictures with both your MGs for us to drool over? Seeing your Paris Act is what got me hooked on getting a pair of MGs in the first place, and I'm almost half way there! Besides, I don't think anyone has both MGs done up by Kurt, so that would be a real treat to see them both together with your photographic talents.

Not asking too much man, but it's impossible. When I first got into photography I ended up selling my Paris Act MG to cover the cost of a new lens. It was an awesome custom by Kurt, but the decals I came across to have it done at the time did not include the decals for the RMS-1 missiles so I was never really happy with it. Just by luck I happed up on another set. I actually have them up for sale in the for sale thread, but since getting this in my possession there is no way I am selling those decals ! I am actively looking for another VF-1S in hopes of having Kurt complete another so that I can have a matching custom pair done by him.

With Kicker snickering over there, I think he's up to something so I think we'll be seeing a really nice treat soon. Give us a hint of what you've got working over there Kick!:ph34r:

i have a few silly question. in what movie do the minmay guard appear? and also the same question with the thunder hammer.. coz i never see this varian armored before..

If I am not mistaken I think they were both featured in Model Graphics magazine. They can be viewed in the gallery I think. I wish I could get copies of both mag covers. Anybody know where I might find these?

    sample1.jpg

What's that hanging in the background man? Looks a bit like a Thunder Hammer...got me thinking since you've been dealing over in Vermillion's thread where he has a kit for sale...

  9. Cool deal that you guys can appreciate the MG as I do, but the praise goes to Kurt. This guy's a beast when it comes to doing custom work. As far as the "background" goes, all the credit goes to ron5864. Futher praise goes to Ron for having the guts to build the diorama and then mail it halfway across the country. The dio didn't make it in one piece thanks to the USPS, but putting it back together was simple and fun. It's turned out to be a gem in my Macross collection. It's my sincerest hope to see Kurt and Ron remain a part of the forums and continue to do custom work for members here. Being the 1/48 junkie I am, I have a few more customs I want before I concentrate my focus on collecting the v2 1/60's.

  10. Some pics of my Moon Act Kurt custom. I've said this before, but you really have to see these in person to get the full appreciation of it. I've taken some close ups but they still don't do it justice.
