  1. Hello, I would like to buy a pair of black jolly rogers from the movie super parts set to replace the kites on my TV super parts. I 'm sure one of you who bought multiple sets would be willing to let go of one pair. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello, I would also gladly get one sheet from you please.
  3. Thanks, but that's what I've been doing for a full half hour but there is no significant progress; I still have less than 90° of movement on both arms...
  4. I received mine yesterday and it's a beautiful toy. But I have one issue though, as others have had: the shoulder rotation (to lift the arm) is completely stuck on both arms. Does anyone have a good method to free that joint? I'm really afraid to break it so I'm looking for the correct method to do it. And since I'm not exactly sure which parts have to rotate, if you have pictures to illustrate, it would be awesome!
  5. I also paid my shipping with From Japan this morning. Seeing Tekering's pictures, I'm very disapointed with the panel lining: it is gross! Couldn't they clean it up?
  6. I also chose slow shipping for several reasons. First, let's be honest, I'm cheap. Then I'm never in a rush to get my toys. And most important, from my experience, in France if you use any kind of express shipping, you'll end up paying custom fees. Whereas using slow shipping options, I avoided those custom fees 95% of the time.
  7. Am I the only one who's received an in stock notification for Arcadia's Proto Garland (from Anime Export)? It should be on its way to me very soon!
  8. Thank you for your answer. I was hoping maybe someone on these boards would be able to print waterslide decals.
  9. Hello, Does anyone know if waterslide decals for the SV-51 can be found somewhere. I am trying to add details to the toy but I don't want to use the sticker sheet provided. The other possibily would be to print waterslide decals using a scan of the sticker sheet, so if somebody here can do it or knows someone who can, I'm all ears, thanks!
  10. Don't shop there. Pre-ordered a DX VF-1A there and never received it. A few days after release I asked the seller when he would ship and he said to be patient. My Patience lasted for 2 weeks before I opened a Paypal case after the seller stopped communicating. I got my money back and finally found the VF-1A almost at retail price elsewhere. Surprised to see this "webstore" still exists...
  11. Also, legs and arms and fins etc...are blue and white, so whichever plastic color they choose, these parts will have to be painted, or am I missing something?
  12. Thanks for your answer. I guess I was expecting a magical solution...So out comes the masking tape!
  13. Thanks. So he is in Japan apparently.
  14. On his Ebay account, where was he located? China or Japan?
  15. I ordered the VF-1A through a website: japanexclusive.onck.net, I suppose it's the same seller I emailed him a first time on 9/19, having no news from him and item being released. He answered on 9/23, telling me to wait 48 hours after confirmation. I emailed him back asking him what confirmation he was talking about. No news. I waited 5 days to email him back telling him I was beginning to worry. He answered saying that the item would be shipped on 10/15. So, I must say I'm not very confident on this one. I am used to chinese sellers going rogue on ebay (I mostly buy 3rd party Transformers), but this is new to me. The thing is I paid with Paypal, and since we have 180 days to file a claim (I purchased the toy in june), I should be refunded. But I'm afraid that if he doesn't ship my toy, and I want to buy another one elsewhere, prices will come up significantly. People will tell me to secure another one while prices are still reasonable, but I can't afford it...
  16. Hello, I would like to ask you how you primed those landing gears? Do you use an airbrush and masking tapes? I would like to do the same but I don't have an airbrush, and the masking involved to spay prime them is too tedious. I guess my question sums up to this: do you or does anyone know of a good primer that can be brushed on?
  17. I received my SV-51 yesterday and at first I thought I was lucky because I have proper left and right ankles. Then I proceeded to transform it and immediately noticed several loose parts. My left biceps swivel spins completely freely. Also the whole right wing assembly was very loose. Upon closer inspection, I noticed a crack on the upper part of the swivel that lifts the wing; it means my whole wing is held only by a tiny piece of plastic beneath it. I have included a picture that shows where the crack is. On top of that, when I bent the right knee for the first time, it dislocated. At first I thought it was broken, but I managed to squeeze it back in place and had to push back a pin so that this knee joint can function properly. So this is without a doubt a gorgeous piece, but I'm afraid it's going to sit on my shelf in fighter mode forever which is shame because I like to transform my toys regularly. I'm just too afraid it's going to break if I manipulate it again and for such an expensive piece, this is unacceptable.
  18. I did for $168 , and paid with Paypal. It seems to good to be true, so it will probably be, but who knows...
  19. Sorry to interrupt, but has anyone ever ordered here? https://japanexclusive.ocnk.net/product/5517
  20. I don't think it's silvering, because the shine clearly comes from the clear coat.
  21. Thanks for you help, but I won't buy a Yamato No Paint kit just for the decals, provided I could even find one! The ones sold on Ebay might come from this kit, but I'm sure there are quality differences between the various sellers, and the ones I bought were really poor quality...If someone here bought from some ebay seller and are happy with the quality, I would really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction. As for the matte or flat finish, I don't want to use a spray can, I'm using a brush to apply the product only on the decal.
  22. Hello everyone, this is my first post here after a long time reading those very interesting topics. I'm about to get a Yamato 1/60 vf-1J Hikaru and I would like to give it the "perfect finish" treatment. I already did it on an Arcadia vf-1s but the decals I found (ebay) were not very good: not very "crisp", wrong spelling (no stlp instead of no step)... So do you know where I can find some really nice decals in 1/60 scale for this project please? Also, the clear coat I'm using which is supposed to be flat (Mr Hobby), isn't really flat. It has a shine to it that contrasts a lot with the flat plastic. Any tips on which product to use would be great. Thanks to anyone who can help!
