  1. Well, I put my order in today for a Hikaru 1S and Fast packs (GOD DAMN YOU YAMATO, YOU ARE MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO SAVE FOR MY G35!) hmmm, maybe I'll have to sttle for the slightly cheaper 350Z... stupid anime hobby <_< ... ahem, anywho... I now find myself in a pridicament... where to put it... My shelf only has enough space for 3 yammies, so one's (namely the Low Viz)gotta go... uh, somewhere... see below...
  2. I plan on getting one of these along with some fast packs (YEAH, YEAH, I know I said I was down with the Yammie 1/48's, but I can find some more space) My question is, what was the missile loadout for Hikaru's VF-1S near the end in DYRL? Did he have the standard (4x RMS, 2x MicroMissile pods) or was it the other one (4x MicroMissile pods)?
  3. BAD TIMES DUDE! Sorry to hear about that. That's why I keep most of my Valks in Fighter mode. The main reason is I live near an airport and I ALSO have a set of train tracks behind my house. So it tends to shake things at times.
  4. Man, I had the smae dream too, I bought my own house and had one of the rooms turned into a "Mecha Museum". Plus, I had about, oh, 30 cars. Then I woke up and had to go to work
  5. The Strike Cannon (Mauler) satys in quite snug to the rest of the boosters, the missile pods on the other hand... come off easily when transforming. Also, the loose micromissiles and RMS Missiles, but nothing a little fun tack or model glue can't fix . But regardless, they are still WAY better then the crappy Fast Packs by Toynami.
  6. I put my vote for "no", not because the low viz is ugly, it is just I got no freaking room for another 1/48 .
  7. Please telll me why would you get those 1/55 Robotech MPC's. personaly I would avoid them because unlike Yamato they are not true to the line art. They are merely upgraded versions of the Bandai 1/55 Valkyries that toyomni or whatever it's name is made. I like your VF-1A Max and VF-1S Roy though. And I too saw the Budwieser can on the sticker sheet as well in DYRL. I guess Kawamorii is a Budweiser drinker. I happen to like my MPC's because the VF-1J Rick was the first transformable Valk I ever purchased. I then ended up getting the whole series becuase I figure might as well stay with what I started. The only 1/60 Yamato's I bought were the ones not offered by the Toynami line (the VF-1D and 1A CF) I agree they are no the best out there. The Super Armor kits were disappointing, no fun at all (Especially Miriya's were the friggen side panel for the legs keeps falling off!) PLUS, with the Miriya, they forgot to put a slot on the forearm armor to store the gunpod in fighter mode, so I had to add my own . To be honest, tho, up until I got the armor kits, I was happy with my MPC's, so I felt it was kinda foolish to buy 1/60 Yamato's of the same kind. Oh, one more thing, sorry the pictures came out kinda dark, they did not look too bad on my computer at home, but at work I see they are not to good looking. Maybe I'll do a reshoot when I got some more time...
  8. Maybe, but I doubt it. If they do release all of them, some of the ones that did not sell so well in the 1/60 line might be released in 1/48 In limmited quanitities.
  9. Good question... Anyway, I suppose the same as everyone else mentioned... I always wanted a transformable Veritech/Valkyrie. I never did get a Jetfire and I was denied a Matchbox VF fighter when it first came out in the 80's (although I did get it later when ExoSquad re-released it. God, that thing sucked. It didn't even transform!). Although I have to say, it's time I let go. Once the YF-19FP comes out, I'm done. I have no more space (it's going to be tricky finding display space for the YF-19 when I get it in '04), plus if I'm going to get my G35 coupe, I'm going to have to start making budget cuts and anime looks like it will be effected the most.
  10. That would be nice... big, but nice. Actually, how about a 1/60 (or 1/72, I'm not sure on how big the VF-2SS's are) of the Macross II Valk? Also, amybe a VF-2JA and let's not forget the Metal Siren. (hey, how come they never made any toys for Macross II?) Going back to a Max 1A (TV), if anything, I'd imagine they would do a 1/60 because the 1/48 DYRL Max 1A does not seem to be selling well.
  11. I know I'm a new member and all, but I wish the best of luck to you!
  12. Some people just have waaaayyyyy too much free time on their hands...
  13. And finally my 1/48's on the shelf along with my 1/55 MPC collection... Better Pic...
  14. VF-1S Roy and VF-1A Max looking ready for action in battroid... Better Pic...
  15. I took some more pics tonight (what can I say, I was bored ) Here's Roy VF-1S 1/48 with some of the FP panels removed... (side note: I knew I wasn't crazy! There really was a Budweiser can design painted on one of the missiles in DYRL) Better Pic...
  16. 's cool, Hurin. Thanks for clearing that up. Now that you mention it, the review section is a tad difficult to find.
  17. Well, sorry, I did not think to check there. There's no need to be snide, but thanks for the link though. Anyway, I ordered the Low Viz set of decals from TMP. I did not order them for the Max and Roy 1/48 FP's because I like 'em just fine, now the low viz on the other hand looks kinda crappy. Plus, the Low Viz kinda reminds me of a Marine F/A-18 fighter, So I'm gonna put Hikaru's markings on there, except this time, he's a UN Marine! Wonder if Hikaru could survive Marine boot camp, especially if R Lee Emery was the drill instructor
  18. One more pic I almost forgot to add... Here is the 1/60 VF-1D, VF-1A CF, and 1/48 Low Viz in Battroid...
  19. Thanks Vlen, I thought you had to upload from other sites. *ahem* Anyway, here's my junk... 1/48 VF-1A Low Viz, 1/60 VF-1A Cannon Fodder, 1/60 VF-1D (in Fighter Mode)
  20. Damnit, I have some pics of my Yamatos, but I can't figure out how to upload pictures on this site, how do I do it?
  21. I'm checking out the sticker sheets that Takatoys makes for the 1/48 Yamato Valks. My question is, do they look better then the decals that come with the 1/48's? Also when will the sticker sheet for the low viz come out, and is it only "Black Rose" markings?
  22. The VF-11B Fast Pack is really cool, easy to tranform too! Now the Fast Pack YF-21, looks cool in battroid and fighter modes, but sucks in Gerwalk, plus it is a pain in the ass to transform.
  23. Damn, what a bummer. Oh well, does anyone have the Bandai M7 Valks? How are they? I did have the one transformable "snap-tight" model a few years back and it was okay. I know a place by me that is selling them, but they're kinda high, does anybody know of any places online that sell 'em?
