GRAND CANNON Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 Nice. Began watching without sound......turned it on......then turned it right back off... Wish they just had the comms rather than the music, but nice nonetheless. Had my airsick bag next to me during those rear-seat maneuver shots!!
ewilen Posted May 9, 2004 Posted May 9, 2004 Agreed. Actually, I didn't mind the music, though it would be good if it was just on one channel so you could turn it off and hear the comms more clearly. File is about 100 megs, I think. My fave was the last shot, which earned a "Holy crap!" from someone. You can really see the missile adjusting to intercept.

I hope at least a few manage to keep flying in the future, if not in active service, then as collector's items. (But I'll bet they're a lot more expensive to maintain than F-86's.)
