I like to know what #-grit of sandpapers should I be using? Suggestions, anyone? I would like to know what grit for what job, if possible. Thanks alot. Brewtal Posted April 2, 2004 Share Posted April 2, 2004 (edited) 300 for large jobs like removing excess putty, 800-1200 for finish. Make sure the packaging mentions wet sanding.
