mustang1 Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 OK, so i downloaded shadowbrokers and WTF?! it won't give me the option to load. now I had to rent a copy of Mass Effect 2 because you need the game , a lesson i learned the hard way, but now do i need to beat the whole game in order to play? any help would be appreciated. Lynx7725 Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 Shadow Broker DLC was never meant to be standalone -- you need ME2 to access the content. If you're just interested in the DLC missions alone, you just need to recruit the first 4 characters and IIRC one any other mission. Then you just need to complete the first Reaper-related mission, and the DLC missions opens up. So basically no, you don't need to beat the whole game.
